Interesting that most reviews from truckers albeit for quite understandable reasons . However I went with my brother's family on a Sunday lunchtime when the place was heaving with families with people queuing to get in despite the vast size of the place . The 3 course buffet offers a very wide choice, is especially appealing to children and there were some good dishes notably octopus to start and excellent fruit to finish alongside traditional Catalan deserts . I had for the first time the local seasonal dish of a cross between an onion and a leek grilled on charcoal and eaten by donning a bib and gloves to peel off the outer layers before dipping the remains in a special sauce - it was very good . Pretty good value at â¬16 a head but child discount only applicable for under 7's .

This is a must visit destination in one of the most wonderful towns in Spain. The service was warm and the live Spanish Guitar performance in this open air venue made for a very special evening under the stars. We came across this place visiting the historical sites on a Wednesday evening. There's was no advertising for the venue or its live entertainment in or around Altafulla which is disappointing for something quite so special.

Found this restaurant via trip advisor and agree with the many excellent reviews already posted. The food was very good and the wine also. Antonio was very welcoming and a great chef. The waiters and their service very professional.
