Beautiful restaurant in the old town of Altafulla. I would never have suspected such a good restaurant.We had the 4-course summer menu. Really nice! We arrived to eat on Sunday night and it was very quiet. The restaurant is set on a round about and boast a wonderful looking patio with large shade trees. The interior of the restaurant is well appointed and clean. The staff were more than helpful with the language barrier. Excellent selection of wines, we chose a medium bodied white. Decided on a lobster paella dinner that included three starters. Everything was fresh, the salad was cold and crisp, the mussels were steamed perfectly and the breaded squid was full of crisp. The paella was piping hot and well presented. An exceptional plate! We split a ravioli chocolate dessert which was utterly decadent. A must for any fan of chocolate and fresh cream. Thank you very much for your coment.

What a fantastic place! Although this small restaurant & takeaway specialises in chicken dishes, there was a great choice for vegetarians too! Everything is fresh & cooked to order, prices are reasonable. The family who run it are great hosts & they gave me & my noisy family a warm welcome every time we visited. If I visit this area again, I will definitely return.

Terrace at the beach We got this tip from Spanish friends. On the end of the boulevard with a nice view at the beach. We had paella and a glass of wine. Reasonably priced and good paella.

A more than pleasant experience!. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make us feel like real locals. The food every single time is mouth watering and most definitely above average. If you want great tapas, this is the place to go in Altafulla. For delicious food and great service, we'd come back every time.

Spent 12 nights in Altafulla in July. We found our favourite restaurant called Polini Bar and Restaurant. There are actually 2 Polini restaurants close to each other but the Bar and Restaurant was our favourite. Myles and Roberto were so welcoming. The food was excellent with plenty of variety although we fell in love with the Potatas Bravas - best we have every tasted. Great Tapas, fish dishes and good wine.The tables are situated right on the beach and its such a relaxing place to dine. We would highly recommend Polini

Slightly surprised by the predominantly very good reviews here...The service was good and the place pleasant (if a little out of the way.)The burgers themselves were fine, but the "artisan bread" was about as industrialised in its manufacture as it is possible to find and was, moreover, dry and not very nice. I thought that the crisps served with the the burgers were a little low rent and there was no salad garnish, which would have improved the experience.

Stumbled across this small restaurant on our way back to our hotel. Excellent service - attentive and multilingual waiter and manager. The food on both our visits was tasty and well-prepared. The food and drink was also very good value. Two meals and 2 cava plus a coffee for 24 euros. This is a must visit restaurant.

The poor menu leaves few alternatives - so i ordered a burger. This was the most greasy and disgusting piece of meat I have ever encountered. Served with something like a beastâs gut on top - that gushed even more fat over it, and potatoes on the side. No vegetables at all - just a few cooked onion rings, and no bread.Now a few hours later I can still feel the greasy fat slowly moving itâs way down my intestines. Man that was utterly disgusting!Sorry to tell you that in our restaurant no greasy meat is served, however we take note of your comments to keep improving.
