Grass Shack Hawaiian Cafe

We stopped here by accident while looking for a lunch spot. This restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall (Exit 24 off I-5) and is easy to miss. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the food is quite tasty & cooked to order. Not only that, but the place is very clean. There is a small outdoor patio as well. Bonus: For those of you gluten-free, they have you covered. All of this adds up to make for a good spot for a quick bite!

This place is a little difficult to find with only a small sign out front in the corner of a complex but well worth it. The food had great flavor. We had the pork and chicken. The Ono sauce which they make themselves is awesome. The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is the location/atmosphere is less than ideal.

We LOVE Hawaiian Hut! The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly. We love the Lava Chicken, the beef, the teriyaki, the macaroni salad... all of it! Really good food at low prices. Great for a quick in and out lunch during the workday. We also bring it home for dinner.
