What we like about Corner Bakery Cafe are lots of healthy choices for anytime you come in. Breakfast , scrambled eggs, three different ways, pancakes with eggs and bacon, or pancakes with just bacon and more. Lunch a variety of Salads and Sandwiches, Dinner a choice of pastas and mac and cheeses. Home made soups and choose any two for a mix and match.We choose the Chicken Carbonara and the Spinach salad. The spinach Salad was called the Spinach Sweet Crisp. Goat Cheese and lots of fruits, Strawberries, Oranges, cranberries grapes on spinach with a strawberry vinaigrette , The fruit made this an outstanding dish. The Chicken Carbonara had a creamy pasta with the right amount of sprinkled cheese.Meals are delivered to your table and servers were very pleasant. Meals came quickly too. You do get the feeling of the Corner Bakery Cafe menu and promotions are similar to Panera's . Like them both.

My two children, ages 9 and 10, went here with a friend who has two children, ages 4 and 16 months. This is a new restaurant, and apparently, a new concept restaurant for Panera Bread. There are several ordering kiosks, one traditional ordering staff person, and then a counter area that is divided up into open shelving areas with alphabet labels. When you come in, you are encouraged to try the kiosk ordering. In theory, one would put in the kiosk order, pay with his own credit card with the card swiper on the kiosk, and then wait until the staff calls his name, and puts a bag packed with his order on the shelves, under the letter of his either first or last name. We took our bag from the person who brought out the bag, so I couldn't tell if the bags were shelved by first or last name. Then, the customer can either stay in the restaurant, which has both indoor and outdoor seating, or take the bag to his car, as a "to go" order. We chose to sit in the outdoor seating area, as it was a nice day. If my friend had not been here before, and helped me navigate the kiosk, I would have been beyond frustrated. It was not easy to navigate, and very difficult to figure out what to do next. I was also very disappointed after I ordered my food, because then I saw on the overhead menu something that I would have preferred to order that I didn't see on the kiosk menu. I am also not sure my two items got grouped together as a "pick two", or if I paid for each item as "a la carte". I am not the only one that had this trouble, because while we were there waiting on the order, another woman got so frustrated with it, she gave up on the kiosk idea, and went over to the ever-growing line, to talk with the real person at the ordering desk. I wish I had done that, too. I ordered a bowl of the vegetarian corn chowder and a half New Greek Salad with quinoa. My children each ordered a cup of plain alfredo pasta tortelinni with a side salad or a side cup of beans. We got 3 of the frozen agave lemonades. The total was a whopping $46. That seemed ridiculously high for a soup/pasta lunch, in my opinion. We didn't even order any sandwiches! I would have been happier at a $15-20 lunch price point. The food was tasty, and the salad with the quinoa was delicious, but I will not be going back there with my family, because it is too expensive for what we usually budget for going out for lunch.
