I did not know this place was open, so we decided to dine here one friday. The place is super cute and clean, which is a BIG deal for us. We travel to Mexico yearly, and know the difference between Mexican and Americanized Mexican, and this place leans towards the real deal...the prices are cheap too. They have el pastor, carnitas, asada, soups salads, seafood and steak dishes that are not on most local Mexican restaurants. They are more Oaxacan. The rice has veggies added, as it should, and the beans, unfortunately for me where not Oaxacan black beans, but still cooked in lard...very tasty...I had the lunch steak fajitas for $7.99, and they were outstanding. The meat was marinated, so it was tender, and the tons of onion and peppers were grilled perfectly..and not a greasy mess. There was so much I was able to have two more stuffed tortillas the next day. My hubbie had the carnitas Michoacan, which was also marinated pork tips with onions pico, sliced avocado, rice and beans for $10.79 . Wonderful experience, and he too had enough to take home. We will be back often eating our way through this great menu. If you are wondering what Chatina means, it is a dialect from the state of Oaxaca.. GO!!!!

A really nice local treats spot. My partner is an authority and states that the banana split is one of the best she has ever had. Their ingredients are real deal, fresh strawberries, tasty pecans, everything delicious and lovingly crafted. If you are in the area at all (or a lucky local) then it is a must stop. Wonderful coffee as well!
