Hole in the Wall BBQ....located in an iconically-painted red brick building *just* off Sullivan's town square....was a delightful, serindipidous find! My husband and I, who have light appetites, split their pulled pork sandwich and one side of delicious Cole slaw. The sandwich had about 12-14 ounces of meat, and Cole slaw was at least a measured cup. Cost? A bargain $7! Definitely enough food for 2 for lunch. We enjoyed it so much, we took a pound home with us....cost? $9.Visiting Hole in the Wall BBQ is great...be aware the restaurant is only open until 2 pm Sunday. A great find! Hi, there! This is the former Skeeters restaurant on Lake Shelbyville. Greatly upgraded inside and very clean. Went on a Wednesday, not so crowded. Looked over very limited menu and both ordered chicken sandwich. Came back about 10 minutes later to inform us they were out of chicken! I had the fish po boy which was good but the fish came as nuggets. My husband had the burger which he said was good. Chips come with sandwiches, fries extra. So the sandwiches were $9 fries $3 and our shock, Michelob Ultra 4.50 a can!! This is not a luxurious restaurant on Lake Michigan! Tax tip, and tip for the hard working dock kids almost $60.00 sorry to say we wonât be returning.
