Sullivan is a city in Moultrie County, Illinois, United States. The population was 4,326 at the 2000 census, and 4,396 in 2009. It is the county seat of Moultrie County. Sullivan is named after Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, where Fort Moultrie is located.

We were visiting IL (about an hour and a half away from Arthur) over the Thanksgiving weekend and visited not only Arthur twice but Yoder's Kitchen as well. On the first visit I had Pancakes and Sausage. Now, I am not usually a pancake person but when I noticed they had peanut butter on the table I decided yes, I will have pancakes. (I prefer Peanut Butter instead of Butter). This was the best decision, they were fluffy and filling and with their amazing Amish Peanut Butter, to die for. The sausage were patties and is some of the best sausage I have ever had. On our second visit we came back for the Breakfast Buffet. Still good and allowed us to try more but if I returned for breakfast again, I would get the pancakes. The buffet allows you to try Mush. Which in my opinion tastes like deep fried grits. Now, when you go to an Amish restaurant and the Amish community is also eating there, you know it is good. We can't wait to return and plan to do so for dinner, primarily the Broasted Chicken

A traditional bakery serving fresh baked goods daily. We offer a wide variety of products including glazed yeast donuts, long johns, maple squares, twists, dough knots, donut holes, fried & baked cinnamon rolls, cake donuts, Danish, cream horns, brownies, coffee cake, bread pudding, a large variety of cookies, muffins, cup cakes, truffles, and much more. Cakes and pies are available as special order items. Coffee, milk, juice, sodas and bottled water is also available.

They have a nice variety of delicious baked goods, but get there early because they are so popular they run out of items and are closed by early afternoon.

While visiting the Lake Shelbyville area my wife and I happened upon this amazing coffee shop/wine bar/gift shop. First the coffee: this place is SERIOUS about coffee. Yes, you can get jusr a cup of coffee, but if you want a coffee that's more "involved" 5 West is superb. Second, the wine: I love coffee shops/wine bars in general, but I love the relaxed atmosphere at 5 West where you can get a glass of wine or a cup of coffee any time of the day. The selection of wine varietals is good especially for a non-big city environment. Third, the gift shop: Catherines is attached and part of 5 West and this is one the best gift shops I have ever been too. The buyer has an eye for great and beautiful that are unique and affordable. Keep in mind that 5 West is right off the Sullivan Town Square which is one America's prettiest town squares. I will visit this place often and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake Shelbyville area or even in the whole of Central Illinois.

We are a local VFW Post. We have recently opened our Bar & Grill. We serve a variety of grilled and fried food, most notably our cheeseburgers and chicken rancheros. We also have homemade daily specials. You can choose to dine in the bar area and watch sports on one of our big screen TV's, or we have a separate dining area. Our post hosts a variety of events in our large banquet room, from bands to wedding receptions to class reunions and much more. We are located just 1 mile South of Sullivan on Route 32. We welcome boaters and campers as we are just down the road from beautiful Lake Shelbyville.

This is a great place to grab a bite. The menu is somewhat limited, but everything I have eaten there is awesome. If you like all things fried, you must try the combo appetizer platter. The portions are huge, and the service is great. I also highly recommend them for parties and events in their hall. Highly cooperative and great people to work with. I have been to many events here, and they know how to take care of people.

My family stops at Skeeters each time we spend the day on Lake Shelbyville. It is. Great place to tie up and have an outside patio lunch. Staff is super friendly and the food is always good. The frog legs are really good and then my favorite is the chicken sandwich with bacon pineapple and bourbon sauce. We have always had fun here. And will be back often.

It's a strange place to find an authentic Italian restaurant. Those in this part of central Illinois that drive a few extra miles to find it right along Route 32 between Windsor and Sullivan by the Eagle Creek turnoff will be pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located inside Howie's gas and food shop. It is a chain restaurant with the parent being from Northern Illinois. The pasta, sauces, salad dressings are all homemade. From the minute you walk in, the aroma is enticing. The food is excellent! Worth the drive!

It is a normal McDonalds as far as food but the decor is amazing! It is upgraded from what you normally see - beautiful tile and earth tones. Very relaxing!
