Hard to know how to rate this - 4 for the full pub experience, but 3 perhaps for quality of food.We have been to the Bistro inside the historical Surveyor General Inn several times over the years, and twice this week. The service - in the bistro and the bar is friendly and efficient, and the spaces comfortable of the type of establishment it is.The food is good though on the first night my duck was a little dry, and on the second night a pretty large number of menu items were not available. It was nice, though, to see some food items different from the usual pub fare.

Recently I organized a High Tea for a friend's hens night and I was not disappointed. The staff were really considerate and polite, the high tea treats were tasty (with gluten free options available) and the range of cocktails was fantastic. I would highly recommend Harvey's as a great place for High Tea in the Highlands

This Scottish pub has a great feel to it. You can tell the food is super fresh, therefore delicious. My husband loved the steak. A great choice when in bowral.
