Gabre, the Alpha tour, have planned and executed our north tour to historical Ethiopia. We started at Bahier Dar, then Gondar, the fly to amazing Lalibella, then fly to Axum and finish at Makele.
The flawless planing and execution which included 4 internal flights, guide and driver at each location, enabled us to focus on the breathtaking views, history and local culture.
The quality of the guides, drivers and Gabre him self, not forgetting the hospitality of his family during our visit at his house, made this trip unforgettable trip.

A wonderous spot where water drains on to the immense salt flats before evaporating leaving, even more, salt behind. It acts as a giant mirror and reflecting basin for the surrounding area and sundowns.

Nothing new had been added since my last visit four years ago. The display is old, tired and badly displayed considering
It's content which is interesting and an
Important part of history. I'm sure the school children who visit would appreciate some imagination and some interaction to keep their interest .
It would be wonderful if there was a volunteer with such experience could go and help and advise them on how to much improve this exhibit. The statues are impressive and It'sLovely To walk around the Gardens. We saw three or four bridal parties who used the Fountains as backdrop for their wedding photos, which was fun to watch . Definitely have
To visit to understand more of the history , just a little frustrating at how much better it could be by using some of the entrance fee money to do so.

World Sun Ethiopia Travel and Tours

We are a family of 5 and took the 3 day tour of Danakil depression with Negasi. We were joined by 2 nice Dutch ladies so the entire group was of 7 pax.
What an experience!!!
I can't compare his agency with the others but can certainly share his feature: reliable responsive and trust-worthy, our guide was Negasi's brother - Gere Yemane was friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. One who really cares, so we all became good friends.
They only takes small groups and provides a personal touch, attentive and accommodating every request (e.g.helped me to buy a local SIM card, small backpack,...), their drivers are professional, friendly and speak English, their private cook joins the trip and tries to fit every taste and preference.
We arrived at Erta Ale earlier than the other groups and could enjoy it all by ourselves. Same experience in the morning. Much different than being there with 40 other travelers who try to take their best shots from your exact standpoint.
Instead of staying overnight in Hamdela we stayed in a family home in Berhale with much nicer accommodation and the so-much-needed cooler weather. At Dalol we were all by ourselves.
I would recommend Negasi and World Sun Ethiopia without a doubt.

Abreha and Atsbeha Church

The environmental landscapes makes the church so marvelous. The paintings in side the church is so beautiful and well decorated. The church is old beyond your expectation. To reach this historical church you should drive through a rough road and sense the landscape. Continue your drive to the Gheralta rocky-cliff Mountains chain hills and admire the rocks structure and formation.
Abreha we Atsebeha Church is one of the Tigray churches must visit by travelers.

Dallol Ethiopia Tours

Visit endless camel caravans as well as the volcanic active Danakil depression: The active volcano Erta Ale has a constantly erupting lava lake in its crater, while ground water bubbles up to the surface in Dallol leaving a maze of mineral deposits in all colors and forms behind.

I've known the owner of Dallol Ethiopia Tours for nearly a decade. During that time, I've had the pleasure of his company on many occasions, both informally as we caught up over a buna, or, more formally as it related to planning and/or guiding a trip. What stands out in my mind is his ability to arrange complicated logistics, suggest great itineraries and/or lend a hand or a laugh, always with an attitude of genuine caring, interest in you as a person, and good cheer. In particular, he organized and/or led a friend and I on two of my most favorite trips-ever: trekking/climbing in the Gheralta region with donkeys, and, a visit to the Danakil depression. If you are in need of any travel services in Ethiopia, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Dallol Ethiopia Tours!

The Danakil Depression can be said to ‘begin’ here. It is one of the most inhospitable regions of the world, but is nonetheless spectacular, full of eye-catching colors, as in the sulphur Springs. The desert has several points lying more than 100 meters (328 ft) below sea level; You pass through a small town of Berhale where the camel caravan stop before they proceed to the northern highlands. I´m from Germany and met Kiros two years ago when I visited my daughter in Ethiopia. So she booked a trekking tour in the tigray Mountains with Kiros. Since this time I´ve been on different places with Kiros. And always the tours were organized very well. I could see the real life from the people in the Tigray Mountains. We also traveled to the danakil depression and Daloul, it seems a different planet. Also the Vulcano Ertale. The service and organization that Kiros puts together is incredible. My tours to Harar and the south part in Ethiopia were also organized from Kiros. Always he made our journeys to realy big adventures for me,my family and my friends! We were always perfectly satisfied and will come back for traveling with him definitely!
