May 4, 2023 Jana Sager

An enigmatic treasure trove of almost unimaginable archaeological and cultural riches, it's hard not to think of Egypt without imagining the Sphinx, the pyramids at Giza, Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and the Nile. As well as being the world's largest open-air museum, Egypt also offers a slew of luxurious Red Sea resorts, many within reach of spectacular snorkeling, diving and windsurfing. Whether you see it by riverboat, from camelback or from just above the coral, Egypt's sights are unforgettable.

Adriatica Hotel

In terms of price to quality, this hotel is the best option in Marsa Matruh

Reviewed By Alexander L

In terms of price to quality, this hotel is the best option in Marsa Matruh and a comfortable place to stay for 2-3 days on the way to the Siwa oasis. Rooms are crystal clean, comfortable beds, fast internet, very central location. The hosts are very nice, showed us a few rooms to choose from and seeing that we were with a child, they gave us a free upgrade to a two-room suite.

Kom El Dikka Agri Lodge

A 45-acre Olive Farm located on the hills of Tunis Village in Fayoum overlooking Lake Qarun. Fayoum is a beautiful and diverse part of Egypt, and can be best-enjoyed & travelled while based in the Village of Tunis. Kom el Dikka is a 30 year old privately owned Olive Farm, which has been recently developed into an Agri-Tourism Lodge. Several years ago, the farm added Vegetable & Fruit Organic Agriculture to its program to accommodate for the family's' and relatives needs, and has since expanded to include selling Certified organic products to Tunis Village and Cairo residence. Kom el Dikka accommodates guests in a few secluded locations on the hills of the estate overlooking Lake Qarun. The hotel is very nice and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location allows you to stay by spacious greens and the lake view too. Facilities in the room were average but it was comfy and the bathroom. Marshmallow and tea bonfire were amazing. Pottery school was enjoyable by my daughter. Collecting vegetables seems nice although I wasn't into it. Highly recommended.

Good value budget hotel

Reviewed By Didier V

Clean, very well located, quiet and nice roof top terrace for breakfast. For $25/night it is a very good value. It is obviously a budget hotel so do not expected anything fancy, all is basic but clean and functional. Location is great, next door to Al Horreya cafe, and plenty of restaurants around. A good choice for any budget traveler.

Another Excellent Stay at Pyramids Loft!

Reviewed By iamdianeh

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed in Pyramids Loft but it’s my 1st time staying at the new location. The new building is located fairly close to the old building, which means it is still close to the pyramids. You’ll never worry about going hungry as there are restaurants all around, including my favourite koshary restaurant which operates 24 hours. There are also many shops selling fresh fruit juices, snacks, sweets, groceries and toiletries. It is walking distance to the famous Pizza Hut which has a view of the pyramids but who needs that when you have the same view on the rooftop of Pyramids Loft! ? Room was clean and comfortable, with hot water (which is a must during winter). Guesthouse staff tried their best to accommodate all requests. Overall, it was a good stay and I’d definitely recommend staying here when you’re in Egypt!

Sufi House

An old sheikh once said "Service without love is like a beautiful corpse. The outer form is lovely, but it is lifeless" We believe that service is a form of worship and also a powerful method of self-transformation.. By service the Sufis mean service for Gods sake" without any thoughts of rewards but out of love and graduate.. This is the kind of service we offer and provide and that is the way we follow at Sufi house hostel. A little bit about Sufi House Hostel: Our 24-hour welcome and information desk is always there to help with any questions. In addition, guests can get information on what to visit in the city and how to get there safely and securely.
