Cute Property But Terrible Staff

Reviewed By JKrefft45

We stayed here for a week in June 2022. The property is a very cute one with well maintained units and some really cool hot tubs. The staff is however sub-par. No one seemed to know what they were doing and many did not know basic facts like where the laundry facility was. At check in I was told I would be charged a $10 check in fee but was actually charged $74. When I asked why this was the case I was given no explanation why the fee was $74 or what that money was for.

This was our first trip to Sedona, AZ and Red Rock Country has so many beautiful sites to see. My husband took the South Kaibab Trailhead hike with a guide. He said it was absolutely AMAZING! One week is too short to see all of Sedona; we’ll definitely be coming back!

Really nice suite, but not well tended.

Reviewed By Anna H

We had a lovely suite, old style SW, but well furnished and with nice linens, but none of the workers seem to have received any training. The receptionist did a horrible job of directing us to our room - numbers are not on the street side of the building, but we had to drive around a lot of the complex and walk through several of the mazes before we were about to locate our room - not fun! Then the room temp was set at 63 degrees. Really?!! Took us till nite time to get the room warmed up even tho it was 90 degrees outside. In the process we discovered that the living room fire place did not work. Receptionist said fireplaces are turned off for the summer (bedroom fireplace worked just fine!), but there was no indication in the room they were turned off, and gas was flowing - could have been a real problem. Cleaning service was perfunctory at best. No vacuuming, no replacing. empty tissue dispensers, no replacing burned out light bulb even though we left it conspicuously on the table - where it remained throughout our stay (and believe me, we needed all of the light we could get!). At well over $300 a nite, I just expect better. Not a luxury resort by any means, in spite of the nice room. Will NOT be staying there again!

Centrally located to everything, very clean.

Reviewed By Pedro F

We chose this location because it was close to everything, very clean place, room was clean, staff was friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was no swimming pool but that was my fault for not looking into that. Other than that, good amenities like a gym and laundry facility. Parking situation is good, no issues and felt safe coming in and out.

Glamping Room w/ a view and fun!

Reviewed By Michele H

This place is new about 3 months. However, it was amazing! Staff was very courteous and completely helpful. This is Glamping done right. Just the right of Text communication/info with perfect info before, during and after your say. The shower is just as good as any 5 star hotel. Full restroom in your dome. Energy efficient everything. Small fireplace and air conditioning. Each dome has it's own telescope. And wait- there is more! LOTS of family fun - sand volleyball court, tetherball, Disc golf (can even play in the evening as it lights up), bounce mat, swing set, bikes, outdoor lawn chess, lawn 5 across, Corn Hole and it goes on. And the finally - smores at the huge firepit in evenings. There is a food truck available on site most days. Small fridge and small coffee pot in your dome. The ceiling retracts for night views! Can't get much better than that. You will need to ask for concierge assistance to get your luggage or personal items to your dome in most cases. The walk up is lava rock so sandals not advised.

Run Down & Over Priced

Reviewed By JoeBenevides

Over priced as is usual in Phoenix, but there's no reason for the housekeeping staff to not report problems to the front desk for maintenance staff to fix. There was sticky epoxy all over the side of the tub and on the shower wall that will come off with a solvent. And the shower curtain rod was loose and hanging low so the curtain falls to the middle and won't stay up so water gets on the floor. It's amazing that something that is making a mess for housekeeping to clean is not addressed by maintenance.

Truly A Budget Lodging But Not At A Budget Price

Reviewed By LuxT954

Somewhat overpriced for what you get. Room was clean but furnishings were old and beat up. No coffee machine in room. There was a microwave & fridge. Noisy. Sketchy people that appeared to be living there. Decent location but topsy-turvy parking lot. Not many lodging options in Superior. So if this is your only option, bring earplugs.

Lovely stay

Reviewed By TheDarkMuse

First of all understand that this is NOT a hotel, its a rented room. I had a private kitchen and bathroom all to myself but its not a hotel, more of a B&B. The place was clean and the owner/ manager left me a lone, EXACTLY what I wanted. The location of the place was nice, not at all what I expected from the negative comments. It was quiet, other people were staying in the room next to mine but I couldn't hear them at all. Its close to major roads so getting to the spots you want to visit is easy. I had a lovely time staying there and when I come again, I will expect to stay here.
