We are regular visitors to Almara and in the past the food has been good and it's been a lovely day at the beach. This time the whole place was swarmed with wasps and the food was terrible. We ordered meat balls. It tasted like...MoreDear Wendy S, Thank you for your review. We take all comments by our customers very seriously and strive to always improve our guest's experience at Almara beach club.

This is a new restaurant within the Port Montenegro Marina development
All experience in Tivat was great but special recognition deserves Al Posto Giusto. It's outstanding restaurant.
Every dish was sublime, deserving prize and will not forget how absolutely wonderful were people working there. Even though the place was non stop swamped by customers, waiters every time encouraged us to wait for a table. When we got back there another day for a dinner, different waiter brought for us exactly the same wine, we chose previously. When asked, how didi you know that? He answered- I remember what wine you ordered another night. If All waiters were more like nephews to us ( I travelled with my family) taking care with kindness and affection. All my family keeps fond memories of dining at Al Posto Giusto.

Restaurant ONE at the foot of Porto Montenegro's Jetty 1 was established in 2011 as a first restaurant in this super yacht marina. Six years in, it still holds the image of neighborly place that attracts yachties, expats and stylish people from all over the region. ONE offers a modern Adriatic menu prepared with international favorites you won't find elsewhere. The most expensive view in the country offers ideal setting for brunch, sunset drinks, or romantic dinners.
Walking on the pier in porto Montenegro we saw a very attractive restaurant named One and decided to give it a try. We started with the tuna carpaccio which was quite tasty and when the toasted bread arrived we thought that we had a winner. But unfortunately things sent down hill after that. My bream served with black rice was just average as the fish was smothered in a white cheesy sauce that completely masked the flavor of the fish and the black rice was somewhat sticky. My wife's said her leg of lamb was average at best, tender but the flavor of lamb lost in the accompanying sauce.

Visited after recommendations. A lovely setting overlooking the bay. Service was very good but we were disappointed with our food maybe we didn't choose well. My husband had pork in pastry which was a little undercooked and the meat was only just cooked which for pork is questionable. My sea bass fillets were beautiful but the grilled vegetables were only peppers which didn't really go, there were no potatoes.

Kind staff, tasty food at fair prices (two pizzas, two beers w/ two desserts around 22e), but the "forte" of the restaurant is definitely open Terrace - eating while watching over the bay is something you have to try during your stay in Tivat.
Also, our desserts (chocholate cake & souffle) were top of the notch.

We had one great afternoon at this restaurant. It has a nice Terrace with kiwi fruits hanging on top, the server was nice (the food came out slow, but totally worth the wait). The food was delicious and fresh. We had the mussels, fish pate, grilled squid and gnocchi with shrimp. After this real feast the bill came and it was very reasonable. We were in Tivat for only a day, but if we had stayed more, we would have definitely returned.

Premium natural ice cream and sorbets. Also serving coffees, teas, hot chocolate and freshly-squeezed lemonades
Best ice cream/sorbet/gelato in the world. I don't normally go for ice cream but this is out of this world. Unusual flavours that taste better than they sound/look - look amazing anyway. Great design of store as well. Please open many more around the world (currently only in Serbia, Montenegro and Chile).

This restaurant/bar/cafe is just across the road the water in Boka bay so it has lovely views, particularly from upstairs when it is open.
On our first visit it was sunny, busy and all open. Second time it was windy and cooler and upstairs was closed.
The food and drink is very good.
The locals all seem to smoke inside so if it's too cold outside...............

The menu of our restaurant combines the skills of its top chef, exquisite seafood including lobsters and fish with the very best local wines to create a memorable dining experience. Rich breakfast offer will start your day on the right note while weekly themed nights will get you acquainted with the best dishes from Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy the sunsets over the Bay of at Carrubba restaurant or bar. The finest Mediterranean cuisine at surprisingly reasonable prices, wide selection of quality wines, unforgettable panoramic view of the Bay of Kotor from the spacious restaurant Terrace - an ideal venue for wedding celebrations, birthday parties, anniversaries christenings, other special occasions and business events. Aside from the obvious gastronomic advantages, Our Guests can separately see how much the interior internal halls emphasize the restaurant. While having an evening outing our guests can notice how delightful it is to ones eye to get mesmerized by the landscape that is surrounding our outdoor terraces, you can see the Boka's crystal clear Azure waters, while noticing the gentle hills of Lushtitsa peninsula opposite from us. There is also puppet suburbs of Herceg Novi on the other side of the Bay ...near the bar stand and the tables on the water edge where you can enjoy a drink or two. You can endlessly get captivated by how those gorgeous white yachts and huge ocean liners silently pass by daily visiting the bay. If you do prefer to take a seat, why not under the thick foliage of the Carob Tree, which the hotel was named after. Or why not lose all sense of time while watching the fisherman and his fearless cat helping his owner with a fresh catch, while later seeing him off into the sea and while patiently awaiting back his arrival. There is only one thing that can bring you back to reality- It is the Bell tower ringing from our neighbor Sveti Roko church (1901), which regularly counts every hour.
We were staying at the Eco Carruba Hotel in Donja Lastva near Tivat and decided to have dinner on the outside patio. The view cannot be beat, the service is friendly and superb, and the food is really excellent.
I would give it my highest possible review. Stunning setting, great staff, and inventive and delicious menu and wine list.
Only a few small quibbles: at this price point, which is high for Montenegro, I would expect cloth napkins and tablecloths, rather than paper napkins and paper placemats.
I can't think of any other negatives--it was really superb. And the setting and view cannot be beat. Fresh meat, fish and produce, great preparations and presentations, great wait staff, and an unbelievable setting and view.

It was pleasant, quiet- great to hide from the crowded restaurants and cafes.
The food was ok, a mix of local and some international cuisine.
I think the owner was serving us, he had good manners. Not too friendly. Unfortunately in Montenegro if you don't speak their language they won't make you feel welcome. Unless you are in a luxury hotel in Porto Montenegro.
