Visited the restaurant in early September and we were well looked after by the manager Stevie Petrov who explained all the dishes. The starters and main course were all prepared fresh and were of the highest quality.
The price of the food was also reasonable with a two course dinner with drinks for the four of us coming to 76 leva.
We will definetely return in the new year and enjoy more of Stevie's and his staff's hospitality
Note:- they no longer sell the Argentinian steaks as Stevie explained there was not the demand for such an expensive menu item.

Here you can have a nice lunch or dinner in a good old-fashioned, folk ambience. The waiters will make you feel special with their kind, friendly and fast service.
The menu is abundant in salads, starters and various dishes which can satisfy every taste. You have to try the specialties but keep in mind that the portions are quite big and can be shared between two if you are not very hungry.
You should not miss the home-made plum brandy and the Turkish coffee and for a midday meal or a late breakfast do not fail to try the soups - tripe soup, chicken soup, lamb soup and boiled beef.
If you are in Tryavna for a vacation and you stay at "Balabanovata kashta" Hotel, you will be given 2 coupons per every day of your stay which you can show at the restaurant and you will get 10% discount per meal!

Although it looks like a snackbar rather than a restaurant, the food served is almost gourmet food. The appetisers come in large portions and are really good. However, instead of camembert cheese with pear and walnuts, my camembert was served with apple and hazelnuts. It was still tasty, so I did not complain, but staff should have informed us. Another drawback: the cocktails (we had a mojito and a margherita) contain very little alcohol. Still, the food was one of the best we had in Bulgaria, hence the 4 stars.

A very good Italian family restaurant, offering a full range of pizzas, pasta, and salads. Food quality is very good, ambiance is casual and pleasant, staff is efficient and friendly, and there is an outdoor patio which adjoins a small play area for children. Staff speaks English, and there are English menus. Prices are very reasonable, even by Bulgarian standards. Highly recommended.

We visited with two friends and their two young daughters for my partners birthday lunch on Sunday. Outdoor table. Lots of fun being had, then clap of thunder, lightening and the deluge. We were swiftly moved inside. 6 starters, 4 mains, 2 children's portions plus 3 Deserts and beer and water was 100levs or 40£ or 60USD. Good food, great atmosphere. Amazing value. Only reason not 5* rating, the food came out of order. Ie some mains arrived before some starters.

The place has a great location and atmosphere! Service is slow even for drinks! Almost everyday there was loud noise from the gardening machines nearby which is pretty annoying

Tourist resturant many famely with kids . Live shows for common turist with pop songs and trying to involve the crowd. Trying to be like vegas show. The place decorated like a huge dinner but the comfutable seats too far from the tables and cant be moved as many of them are dinner seats style. The food is ok and served pretty quick . Bottom line nice place for famlies

Well beer, especially the dark one is a joke. Only amber could be called beer like. All dishes are a miniature. Skembe chorba is far from best examples in Bulgaria and let's say average. Baklava is rather sweet banitsa. Interior is inconvenient as well. Generally poor experience.

Savoya was recommended by locals and indeed it met all the expectations. Over two years we booked a section of the restaurant for private parties. The we had staff dedicated to us. Great service and the lamb roast was a masterpiece. Fantastic all around experience.
Some touch up work may be needed on the interior but it becomes unnoticeable after couple of glasses of good Bulgarian red wine.
