With friends and family we had an enjoyable evening of great food and music provided by Tennessee Lights.A substantial menu of great food and drinks was an exercise in challenging opportunities. The flank steak, burgers, tacos and fish fry that we ordered were raved about with everyone indicating a soon to be returned visit. Can't stress the delicious food and great service enough.

Went here for dinner on 6/7/19, finally got some nice weather to sit outside. Food was great, the staff are always awesome and it was nice sitting outside and meeting new people. Joe Gatt's is a great place to go for dinner or just go and have drinks. Highly recommend!!! Keep up the good work!!!

The food is commonplace and mediocre; never inedible, yet never outstanding. The attached pub has much more atmosphere than the hotdog stand-like restaurant, but even the pub lacks character. On the other hand, the staff is super friendly at every hour of the day; never trying to hustle you along at closing. The beer is cold and the clientele is happy with many regulars.

Fairfields Bar & Grill

We were looking for a relaxed atmosphere with decent food. Maybe our expectations were too high on the latter. We were seated quickly on a Saturday night in a comfortable, clean booth (though you could smell the odor of a common disinfectant universally used in restrooms and floors). It was quiet and not crowded. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Prime rib is a special every Saturday, and 2 of us ordered that. The dinner rolls that came out quickly and warm (warmer than the entree) were delicious and the best part of the dinner. The prime rib was barely warm, had a faint but distinct odor of meat that was old/starting to turn, was a strange color, and was pretty tough and stringy. My dining partner and I ate a few bites (and did not get sick from it), but really could not eat it. The frozen vegetables that accompanied it were ok (again not very warm), but when I asked for a second helping (because I couldn't eat the meat), the second batch was partially frozen. The soup I got (lentil and sausage) was edible, and in the end I ate it because I was hungry. It had a two very small bits of sausage, and another tiny bit of meat that clearly wasn't sausage. My 3rd dining partner had a chicken salad that was mediocre, but edible. Since neither I nor my friend ate our prime rib, I was expected to be compensated for at least one of the meals (and all I asked for to replace it was a scant amount of frozen uncooked vegetables), but we were charged the full price for both meals. From the majority of good reviews I see here, perhaps it is safer to order the bar type food.

Had a great time at TP’s on St. Patrick’s day. The cottage pie had big chunks of tender beef and was really good. Seafood chowder came with the meal and was as well. Two people in our group had French onion soup with their cottage pie and was a big hit. So much cheese. It was perfect. All around good experience and affordable prices.

My first visit to the Pour House for lunch was a success. Our sandwiches were extremely good. So, a month later I took my family there for lunch. Not the same. One of our orders came much later than all the others, one of our salads came with no dressing, the pot roast platter was extremely salty. My turkery, avocado, salad had the fresest greens ever, but the turkey was not roasted.....just ordinary deli turkey. Only my husband's hamburger was satisfactory. Our waitress tried, very hard, apologizing for the late entree, bringing the missing dressing quickly, but......her willingness just wasn't enough to save the day. We won't go back, but if you do, try the sandwiches!

It wasn't too crowded on a recent Saturday evening when we stopped in for dinner. I've heard that Friday nights for the fish fry can be absolutely jammed. We did have to wait 20 minutes or so for a table though it appeared some tables were empty. Once seated our waitress was very efficient getting us our food and drinks. The menu is pretty big with both typical tavern fare and some real Irish specialties. We both ordered the beef on weck - it was a solid sandwich. The roll was excellent. The onion rings were good for being breaded, though I prefer beer battered. And the fries were huge.Overall a good choice in Fairport.

We visited on a Tuesday night. As others have noted, we waited despite seeing many empty tables. We were told 20 minutes but only waited about 7. I found the menu to offer something for everyone: burgers, steak tips, taco, pulled pork, wings. A nice variety. Our server, Janae, was good and patient, and filled our waters often. She checked on us a sufficient amount. My pulled pork was tender but didn't really have enough sauce - I simply asked for more. It was served on a piece of bread that got mushy in five seconds flat. That was puzzling. The cornbread was ok, a little overcooked on both the top and bottom. The sweet potato fries were good. My husband enjoyed his taco sampler and my mom enjoyed her patty melt with mushrooms and friend onions. Overall we were satisfied. We will return. I'm sick of Italian or Chinese as my only choices, so this is a nice change.

A must stop in the village of Fairport, just north of the Erie Canal. Excellent food, the service is great and a very comfortable place to sit and relax for a beer, snack, lunch, or dinner. A wife range of choices to eat and the portions are above average. We love visiting Donnelly's. Right next door is a great place for pizza: TKs. A must stop as well!
