Located far from the bright lights of Dallas or San Antonio, in the state's western corner along the sparkling shores of the Rio Grande, El Paso boasts a different feel than its eastern counterparts. A true melting pot of American and Mexican culture, the combination is noticeable everywhere. Visit the El Paso Museum of Art and see American works from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as Mexican colonial art and retablos from the 1700s and 1800s. Restaurants serve authentic Mexican cuisine, Texas barbecue or a little of both. While this fusion of cultures draws some, the rock climbers who descend on El Paso have only one thing in mind: scaling the massive boulders of Hueco Tanks State Park. Those who prefer the ground can wander through the park's interpretive center and see ancient Indian pictographs. Other popular El Paso pastimes include golf, mountain biking and our personal favorite, stargazing.

The German Pub did open its doors on the 27th of December 2014. Before that it was located on Ft. Bliss. It was named German Club and was in business for 50 years. The German Pub is a bar/restaurant with a full bar. It is the only place that broadcasts th
This is a welcome change from the normal Mexican food diet that abounds here, and itâs very tasty German food. This is the same German restaurant that used to be located on Fort Bliss, and was so well-loved by all the soldiers. The schnitzels were tasty, the service was friendly and quick, and the decor is cute.

First time visitor to Crave to meet friends and didn't bother checking TripAdvisor in advance. So, I probably ordered the wrong thing or came on the wrong day. Saturday's are very busy after 9 a.m. and I'm not sure the kitchen can handle the traffic push. I ordered Chilaquiles Verdes with two over easy eggs. The dish was good, although I personally did not like the abundance of chopped raw onions and cilantro. Eggs, however, were perfectly cooked. Sauce was appropriately spicy. Would order something different next time. The chief concern is the time it took the kitchen to produce our meals. Seemed like 30 minutes. Coffee is good and kept coming, thankfully. Others in our party commented that their dish was served warm, not hot. Perhaps a kitchen issue again. So, maybe this was a one-time experience.

Place is a little basic but the food is great. Had the New Mexico burger, the roasted tomatoes and green chili relish was nice and not very spicy. Fries were Parmesan which was strange because I would of preferred them to be regular. They were rather off putting with the condiments on the burger. Service was just ok. Would go back for the burgers though.

We were there for a late lunch early dinner date. First of all the parking is a little odd. The music in the back patio was way to loud so we went inside to eat. There was just another couple in there and us. The girl at the bar came to help us. She was friendly so that's a plus. My wife had shrimp scampi, it was good she said. That's it good nothing special. That's the same way I felt about the pastrami sandwich I had. We'll go back and try something else.

I came to his location a few times during a recent trip to El Paso, because it was less than a 1/2-mile from my hotel. Service at the bar is very friendly, there are 30+ beers on tap (including some local ones from Deadbeach Brewery and El Paso Brewing Company), and pints are $3 between 3-6PM on weekdays! Also, the Toro Burger is $5 all day on Wednesdays! They have an excellent variety of burgers, and quite few takes on french fries, too. Make sure you have some water handy if you get a bowl of chili (I was warned...)!I will frequent this place when Iâm in El Paso.

A new modern western steakhouse setting the standard in town with our premium wet aged and dry aged steaks. Offering premium steaks without the premium price.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Servers are accommodating and professional. Definitely recommend. Steaks are large and cooked to perfection. Prices are reasonable and likely less expensive than most restaurants of this caliber. Conveniently located just off I-10.

My wife and I popped in for drinks and dinner one evening (almost everywhere else in the downtown area was closed by 8pm!) We enjoyed a couple of craft beers and a charcuterie plate at the bar. We appreciated the bar staff's insights on the beer - they know their stuff. This is a very casual and laid-back establishment. No pretense, no fuss. Enjoy.

Independent & Family-Owned Pub featuring 60+ taps of independent beer, vast spirits selection, cocktails, cigars, and a scratch kitchen. Enjoy out on our beer garden.
During our week-long stay in El Paso, we visited the Hoppy Monk not once, but twice. Great tap beer list and we found the food delicious, too. The cauliflower "wings" were a favorite as were the veggie tacos. Just a hands-down great place to chill and enjoy a beer and elevated food!
