Pizzas good but not happy with pocket sandwiches lately. They used to make their own pockets from pizza dough but for the past year or so all the Papa Gino's have been using pre made pockets. They are stale an flavorless. I have had dry old pockets 3 out of the last 6 times I have visited to various Papa Gino's in the area. Go back to the old pizza dough pockets !

So let me just start with this place has the best steak and cheese ever! I love both the sub and the calzone style. I went today and got a small steak and cheese calzone which is the size of a small pizza box. It was perfectly cooked, hot, and ready when they said. Today's calzone was just as good as every other time I have had it which is often. I also want to mention all their food is great. The pizza is a really great deal and is a nice thick slice of pie. There is a little spot to eat inside or if it is nice out maybe walk across the street to the little beach area. The prices are very affordable and they have a very wide menu including some fried items. The most noticeable thing about this place is the staff. For as long as I can remember the same reliable friendly faces have been there. Next time you go in tell them I said hello. I highly recommend you try them out.

For the tastiest pizza around, we always head to The Old Railroad Cafe. Their pizza is always delicious, and the price is reasonable. We especially love the pizza sauce that they use. Our favorite is the cheese pizza. The staff is always friendly. We have been going there for years and usually call in our order. It is always ready when we arrive to pick it up. The pizza also freezes well.

Went for dinner last night. Was pleasantly surprised. Being Italian and cooking Italian regularly, I am a critic of other Italian cooks, especially their pasta sauce. It was excellent there. I had chicken piccata and was thrilled to finally find a place who prepared it exactly how I like it, light lemon butter sauce with a modest amount of capers. Was served over linguini done al dente. We had tiramisu for dessert, also very good ( but not as good as mine!) The place was small, only 30 seats, but heard they do great take out business. Will return for sure. They also serve lunch and pizza and have daily specials,

We recently moved to Pembroke and from the first day we moved in we have been eating or doing take out at Pembroke House of Pizza. The food is excellent, the portions big and the staff, especially the owner, go out of their way to please. They are friendly and competent. Their menu, besides pizza, is quite large and we have enjoyed their subs, Italian meals, side dishes and the pizza, of course. Prices are great! Everyone can find something to love!

We visited The Lucky Dawg on a recommendation of a friend. It's a local tavern and looks like a great place to down a few beers. We came to eat and we were seated right away. The place was clean, but a little loud. I had the Prime Rib special with mashed potatoes and a medley of veggies. It was very good and only 9.99. My wife had the Turkey Rachel with sweet potato fries, she thought it was also good. The only gripe that we had is that the food was slow coming out. We will revisit at a later date.

My business orders takeout from here almost on a daily business. I have not heard a single complaint yet. Chicken subs use real chicken, not the frozen patty stuff. Pizza is delicious but get the large. Wraps and salads are great. The grilled chicken Hawaiian wrap is definitely the best wrap I've ever had. The apps are fantastic. They have a large menu and everything has satisfied. Staff is always friendly. The only problem I see would be for people dining in as there is not much room. Definitely a takeout or delivery joint but worth it. Do yourself a favor get a great meal at a reasonable price.

As an elder I look forward to times we are able to go out for dinner with good friends. The money seemed pricey for the amount of food but the presentations looked lovely. I ordered a cup of soup to start. When the soup came there appeared to be hardly any in the bowl, maybe a few tablespoons. I mentioned this to our server who brought it back to the kitchen. A moment later a woman returned to the table with two bowls who scolded me telling me the serving size I was served was appropriate and “did I want it or not”. I was horrified at the way this women, who come to find out was one of the owners had spoken to me, as was the rest of the party I was with. We then proceeded to overhear her as she walked by our table several times that we were a “ very difficult table”. She also stated to me as I was talking with the hostess“You are a difficult customer and I don’t want people like you in my restaurant “I let her know I was going to write an online review of my experience when she stated She didn’t care because everyone at this places loves her.I would have been more than happy with a larger serving of soup. I’m horrified at how she escalated this, the scene that was made, and shared in the embarrassment her employees also obviously endured. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
