North Port is a city in southern Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 57,357 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was originally developed by General Development Corporation as the northern or Sarasota County part of its Port Charlotte development. GDC dubbed it North Port Charlotte, and it was incorporated under that name through a special act of the Florida Legislature in 1959. By referendum in 1974 the city's residents approved a change to simply North Port to proclaim its separate identity.

So, we were shopping and wanted food. Noticed Il Primo was open. What the heck. After the last place in this spot, we weren't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise. Good prices, great selection and amazing pizza. We got wings and a small pizza each, without breaking the bank! Gabi took our order, Bobby the manager brought our order to us. everyone I there was super friendly! I sure hope this one stays!

Once in a while and for some unknown reason the wife, or I, declare a craving for pizza. This usually happens on Sunday evenings although the phenomena has been known to occur on Saturdays.We usually have an argument about the toppings, never about the regular crust or size, prior to ordering on the Papa John's Website. Using the Website gives us a visual of what will be at the door in 45 minutes or less.Our local, North Port Papa Johns is just a few miles down the road so we know it'll be nice and ready to eat hot. The taste of a Papa Johns Pizza is really better than similar fare from other chain pizza franchises - we know first hand because we've ordered two like pizzas at a time to do real "side by side taste comparisons." BTW - this was a test we did here in North Port when we first moved here a few years ago.Being from New York, we know "Pizza Joints," and many we've tried here in Florida and a few in New York, vary on taste using the exact same ingredients from one visit to another! Same restaurant, same Pizza, different taste!So, we settled on Papa Johns because of taste, crust and ingredient consistency and value. When we order the pizza we know what to expect. And finally, last but not least, the delivery person is always cheerful and friendly too!

Honestly i never liked pepperoni pizza before, but when you can get a Large hot and ready pizza for $5 you can't go wrong! It actually tastes pretty good too.

Family down from Wisconsin and we had to have Jetâs Pizza. Ordered the half cheese-have Italian sausage and the meat with the Turbo Crust. Truly delightful and tasty. Best take-out pizza weâve found in Florida!!!

Saturday night was rainy and we figured we would have a long wait for take-out but we didn't feel much like cooking so we dialed their number. Ordered a pizza and was told it'd be ready in 15-20 minutes! We were so surprised! My husband went to pick it up (I was under the weather - literally and figuratively) and promptly returned. Again, I was surprised. The pizza wasn't only visually lovely but it tasted great! The crust was just the right thinness without being cracker thin and had a great chew. We ordered pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives and they added a generous amount of each. Most places skimp on mushrooms but Zio's Twelve 21 added a larger amount than I've ever seen! Nice folks. I hadn't written my review yet so I stopped in after grocery shopping the other day to let them know how much we enjoyed it and the owner and young lady working couldn't have been more kind. Can't wait to go back!

Mummy and I are not a fan of others tomato sauce, so it is a relief to know that at Marco's, we can get what we want. We Like their thin crust pizza, light sauce,1/2pepperoni and 1/2 sausage, so we can share, at it will will always be good. Their garden salad we have have shared in past was good also. Stick to the pizza in this outfit and you will be fine!

We were looking for something simple but tasty for our last night in Venice and we found the Taste of Italy. We had a great evening! The service was perfect. We had a baked brie appetizer and a wood fired pizza, both were great! The only sour note was an adjoining table. A server mistakenly brought her order to our table and I could hear berating the staff member for the mistake, in part because we breathed on it! The irony is that she was hacking through the meal! Lol.

Stopped in for lunch. My husband & I both had one of the lunch specials. I had the Lasagna and salad. The waitress asked what kind of salad dressing, I said honey mustard. My husband had the spaghetti and meatball with salad. He ordered ranch dressing. Both meals were good and enough for a lunch portion. When the bill came both lunches were $.75 more. When I asked why the up charge the waitress said because we did not have the house dressing. She never told us that any other dressing other then the house would have an up-charge. It is only .75 cents but she should have told us. We will be back as the special are good.

We have ordered twice through a third party and Alvaros left out half the order. We called them and they did not even offer to fix the order. Their explanation was that they did not key the order in. They did not apologize either. They should not allow third parties to deliver their food if they can't complete the orders.
