We've visited Joe's three times during the last two months and found the service and food to leave a lot to be desired. The service has been slow each time even when not busy. Refilling drinks are an after thought and the servers tend to disappear for long periods of time. On one visit I ate my entire meal waiting for the server to appear so I could ask for a refill. Only when she presented the bill and saw my empty glass did she offer me a drink "to go". On one visit we ordered an appetizer which was delivered at the same time as our main entree. On our last visit there were four of us and one plate (hot ham & cheese) had sat long enough for the cheese to congeal. The BBQ nachos appetizer was very small, contained very little meat and was a total disappointment. The four of us each ordered a sandwich, shared one appetizer and three sodas and the bill was $69 before tip. We eat out frequently and believe in giving restaurants several chances even when it doesn't hit the mark the first or second time and feel we have given them a fair chance to earn our repeat business but have failed.

I don't think you can go wrong with Giordano's pizza, it's iconic and beyond delicious. This location has a really neat building and atmosphere. The seating a tiny bit crowded, but it doesn't take away from the experience. Remember that for the deep dish pizza, it's about an hour wait for the food. Worth it!

I stopped in for a late night supper.I had a torpedo.This place is clean with fast friendly service.I also enjoy the tortalini.I have not had the pizza,yet. Thank you!We look forward to you coming back and enjoying the pizza!

We picked up Rosati's again the other night and I was happy with the order. I thought the pizza could have stayed in the oven another minute or two but it's usually more done than it was on this round so no biggie. The salad was adequate and the house dressing is tasty so it's a pretty good meal for the price.

The building is modern but the establishment on 'Rte 66' is historic although not nostalgic. We ordered green salad and decaf coffee for starters. We then ordered a thick crust 14" Pan Mighty Meat Pizza, adding green peppers and onions to the ham, pepperoni, bacon, and sausage toppings. The pizza came as thin crust and an apology from the waitress, as well as an offer to make us a new thick crust pizza, but we were Ok with the thin crust. We found it very tasty, although a bit on the salty side. For dessert we had Cinnamon Pizza., in the one size only of 10" . The cost of the 'Meat Pizza' was voluntarily removed from the bill as a gesture of good service.

Thee best place in town for pizza and craft beers. The owner is super friendly and runs a great restaurant. Been going there for years and the beer menus keeps changing. Pizzas are all great.

Repeat patron - so many sandwich combinations to try. Every one has been an incredible taste treat. If you like pickles, order the sandwich "fully loaded." A large choice of condiments available. This restaurant has been a part of the ISU area and life for many years! Located on Main St right in the heart of Illinois State University this small but very busry restaurant is extremely well known for its bread, gondola sandawiches, spaghetti, and pizza. It has also become a favorite of the local crowd as well. A second Avanti's Restaurant Resyaurant has opened near the Bloomington Airport. Both restaurant's have the same good menu's and great service Both restaurants are family and oriented, very reasonably priced, serve god food and have fast service. They do have carry out sdrvice that you can either call ahead for or order when you get there with only a short wait. Their carry out department has their own entrance which makes for far less congestion in a busy restaurant. Items to try on the menu include: the godola sandwich..a submarine type sdandwich. which can be orderd either by whole or half. Their Pizza Burger which made with meat balls. Pizza of most any kinda you may want but is only average. The french onion soup is good and topped with melted cheese! The tomato sauce they use has gone through many changes over the years so ...you judge for yourself....Parking at this store can be difficult because Main Street is so busy. Use the back entrance on Kingsley whenever possible. Parking is straight in and not angled which allows for more cars in the lot. As an aside. This restaurant chain started back in the 1960's in Peoria, Illinois near Bradley. University as a walkup and walk through restaurant while my wife was a student theire.

I've been going here for over 3 decades and it's STILL my favorite family go-to when I'm in town. This place is known for alot of things, including their fried mushrooms and fried ravioli, but it's the magnificent A La Baldini pizza that always brings me back time and again! It's a great place for friends, family, and couples.
