Recommend booking a table if you want to be seated near the stage. We arrived during happy hour (6-8pm on Thursday) and ordered pizza, garlic bread and potato wedges. The pizza was okay, although not the best I have had. The jazz night itself was brilliant. Relaxed atmosphere and a place to soak up some good music! Would visit again, although would probably just opt for drinks.

Greater by a member of staff on arrival.Fantastic choice of drinks, including cocktails. Al a carte or set menu available with a variety of dishes. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing too much trouble. Staff friendly and helpful. Had linen napkins not paper ones. Good atmosphere. Not too expensive Would definitely recommend this restaurant

So ideal to Etihad Campus, Manchester City Men and women's stadium, plus the verodrone cycling centre.Been recommend the carbonara as its a must to try. Which I will next time.We ordered a 20 inch pizza which was amazing and to add a hint of garlic sauce.The tiramisu was really nice which is a must for me.The staff and owner were very welcoming, friendly and professional.I will come back again.

We stayed in the city center and wanted to find a restaurant nearby. This was mid week and a relatively quiet time. The restaurant is situated on a corner on Deansgate and Market street, rather busy with traffic, but quiet enough in the evening. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We had pizzas and pasta and the house red. It was a very nice meal, nothing extraordinary but really good. The service was good and friendly. We were happy with everything.Ciao! Why is this place so busy?! Way overpriced and food is bang average compared to some of its near neighbours. Always a 6/10 meal @ 10/10 prices. We had pre-booked a table but at the time of our visit it was fairly quiet so getting a table wouldn't have been an issue that visit. This Pizza Express was chosen due to it's great reviews and it didn't disappoint. We shared starters and for our main courses two of us had pizzas and one had a pasta dish all thoroughly enjoyed, followed by great desserts. Our waiter (Jesus) was lovely and provided excellent service. We felt it was very good value.

Food cooked in stone baked oven so was ready within minutes. Got a cheesy garlic bread starter and it was incredible it was swimming in garlic butter. Also had the meatballs starter and the tomato sauce was insane. The pizzas are authentic and taste boss. Bring your own booze as well.
