We went to nectar bistro for my sisters birthday. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff had made a special effort to dress the table for the birthday occasion. Celebrating my sisters b-day, she wanted to go to Saray. Its a little intimate restaurant, cosy. I was a little cold at first but warmed up after an alcoholic drink. Sat near to another couple celebrating the husband b-day too. The food was delicious and so much of it that we couldn't finish it all. Staff were friendly and courteous throughout. At the end of the night, my sister and the gentleman celebrating their birthdays were presented with a cake and a chorus of 'Happy birthday', which was unexpected. It made the night for my sister, what a lovely gesture!

My wife and I ended a day visit to Manchester with a visit to Alborz Restaurant. Koobideh Kabob (minced lamb grilled kabob) was probably the best we have had in the last few years including Iranian restaurants we have been two in Berlin, Cologne, Paris, London and Brighton. Welcoming attitude of the staff made the visit a thoroughly enjoyable dinner.Many Thanks for taking the time to leave us your kind review. Had a lovely meal - we booked for 8.30 without realising the restaurant normally closes around this time but the kind friendly owner cooked for us and made us welcome - but we were the only people there. Apparently he only opens between 6 pm and 8.30 pm and the place is always busy. The restaurant is small, authentic and the food is superb - best humous ever - with lovely fresh flatbread. I had an aubergine (vegan) moussaka which was truly delicious and my daughters had sea bass and a chicken kebab which they said were amazing! Well done Zaytoon.
