Simple Menu -Great Food

Probably one of the best secrets of Val de Aran. There is no menu, the offer is always the same, Olla Aranesa (local potage), local meats and sausages and basic desserts. The quality of the Olla is fantastic, probably the best in the valley, and the staff very friendly. This is a familiy run business. On weekends call tonreserve a table.

Torre d'en Bofill

Home away from home

Reviewed By hawshem

Torre d'en Bofill is like a home away from home. The B&B is set in a rustic farm setting with cows, horses, and chickens being some of the animals grazing the grounds. Teresa and Nuri, and their extended family, welcomed us with open arms upon our arrival. Nuri spoke some English and was able to communicate our needs. The hosts graciously and generously offered us a variety of fresh fruits from their orchard. If you would like to take a dip to cool down, you could go to the pool. The price includes breakfast and dinner. They offer a simple breakfast, and fresh bread and omelet on request. The dinner menu is authentic Catalan influenced fare with a generous amount. The guests are fortunate to sample the same food menu being served to their family. Nuri and her husband Oriol have charming 3-year old twins. They have three adorable dogs who form part of the welcoming committee. Parking is readily available in a secure location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay initially in mid-June 2019 and returned two weeks later in July 2019. I heartily recommend this family-oriented B&B to anyone who would enjoy authentic Catalan culture at a rustic level. Sylvia H.

A one of a kind experience

Reviewed By moseanchai

This place is beautiful, so tranquil and peaceful, nicely secluded while at the same time conveniently located with easy access (via car) to Sitges and Barcelona. David is an exceptional host. While it is a Bed and Breakfast,, you do have the option to also add lunch and/or evening meal, and you definitely need to experience either one, or both. David is an exceptional cook, and the outside areas set up for meals feel like paradise. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. You can take some lovely walks near the property and enjoy spectacular fews and when you return, cool off in the beautiful pool at the back. We highly recommend Casa Colina. As I said, a one of a kind experience, that we will definitely partake of again R&M, Atlanta, GA
