Reviewed By Daydream537249Nada más entrar las escaleras ya te dan mala sensación pero cuando el dueño te abre la puerta del alojamiento lo que comentan otros huéspedes parece de pelicula de terror. Nada más llegar nos preguntó que si llevavamos sacos de dormir nos quedamos mirandonos y cuando entramos en la habitación era pésima peor no las he visto los cajones rotos en lo alto del ropero, los pasillos oscuros y llenos de chirmes por todos lados y ya lo peor cuando me enseño el cuarto de baño por favor allí se coje una infección las duchas pésimas y todo igual Si la esperiencia fué mala para mi marido y para mí peor fue para mis dos hijos que decian que ellos no se quedaban ni muertos. Menos mal que las maletas las dejamos en el coche y con esa escusa salimos corriendo de alli. Todavia puede ser que nos esté esperando

Nice place to stay
Reviewed By K PThe host was very friendly and showed us all of her flowers. The room was nice, but the beds are a bit small and short for the tall ones among us. Location is great 2 minutes walking from the fishing harbor. Lots of restaurants

Very noisy and hard bed
Reviewed By frijolitaukWe stay 2 nights here and were disappointed. The location is very good( 10 min walk from the bus station) but we weren't prepared for the noise outside our room on the street. If you are planning to get up early the next day and don't have ear plugs I won't recommend this pension. If you are a night owl and are planning to go out till 2-3am in the center then this is just the place for you. Facilities were clean and all the basics were provided; however, the bed was very hard and pillow uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Great place to stay in Gijón!!
Reviewed By Fabian NExceptionally clean with parking available on street (first come first served), it was the perfect place for us to stay. Walking distance to the center and in a neighborhood with plenty of shops and bars, this place was a real nice surprise. Would definitely come back.

Friendly family run pension in the countryside
Reviewed By maxtraveler2Had to break our drive along the north coast of Spain basically in the middle of nowhere (lovely countryside nonethe less). Very inexpensive stay for a quiet clean room with a simple breakfast included. Since we were there in the off season (lots of beautiful looking beaches all around, suspect this area is much busier in the summer) we couldn't find a restaurant that was open so opted for a picnic dinner cobbled together from cold cuts and cheese and a really good bottle of wine from the local grocery store. There were a couple of small towns further west that we now wish we had driven on to. At least we would have had a small village to walk around in that evening.

Good location
Reviewed By Michael PThe accommodation is a little hard to find as it on the 6th floor of the building, and there is no parking but you just stop and off load your luggage and its perfectly OK. Finding parking can be harder. The owner is not on site so it's best to arrange an arrival time before hand. We had room 4 which was quite small but very comfortable and had a small balcony which over looked a plaza. It is located very close to restaurants and a large supermarket. But be aware that during special days. such as St Anthony's Day (13 June ) the market can and some restaurants can be shut for 2/3 days. Also the town becomes very noisy during at period with music until 4 or 5 in the morning and very loud fireworks going off at all hours. But nearly all the locals dress in national costume on the 13th June and attend Mass, it is very well worth seeing.

Reviewed By belgianguy1Simple but adequate accommodation, very well situated in the center of town...it perfectly suited our purpose, a good night rest while on the Camino...we had a triple room with private bathroom, small flat screen tv and electric heating, good hot shower... it's an old building but with character, and all was clean
