Gross and dirty
Reviewed By 148ylI had an unpleasant time staying at the motel. The room I stayed in, the toilet cubicle had cobweb on the ceiling, the bed end sheet (I dont know what you call it) had some sort of blood stain on it, a pubic hair was found on one of the towels, stain marks were on one of the pillows, the mattress bases cover had lot of stains on it, the cup tray had lot of dust and sugar on it, lot of dead flies are inside the pamphlet rack and the gap under the shower door had lot of dirt and hairs came out when I put a little bit of water pressure on it. It was revolting, the worst of all each night was about $137. There were no room service, no one came and tidied the bed each morning and emptied the rubbish bin. On the top of that, the decor is definitely very outdated, it desperately needs a good fresh of paint. Very disappointed experience overall.

Reviewed By jeremyhill58Very disappointed. Overpriced for what it is, basic motel. Also, they take an additional $200 deposit for extras? There is no bar fridge, so not sure what the extras are? In a noisy part of town. Poor WiFi, small television. Overpriced, never again!

Reviewed By GREG LOn arrival I was a bit worried to view from the outside but soon forgot about that I was able to check in early this hotel I say was built in the 1960s so not modern but very happy with the room very clean with little extras plenty tea and coffee microwave toaster fridge air conditioner worked well bed very good and sheets crisp and clean The bathroom was my only small worry as it was a shower over a spa bath which was hard for me with my disability but managed OK for a room under $130 for 2 adults very good value shops/cafes ony 4 mins down the road would stay here again

My partner booked it and when I saw the main road location next to a hotel I was a little worried about the noise level - I'm a very light sleeper. BUT there was no issues at all - unless you think some noisy lorikeets in the morning rate as a problem........ Our room was on the hotel side of the motel - not at the front. [Plenty of glasses & cups, but no plates/bowls - maybe available on request ??] Microwave/toaster/electric jug provided - there may have been knives/forks/spoons

There were a couple of brown stains on the bed sheets. The silicon sealing was mouldy and falling out of the shower around the base. The pool was absolutely disgusting. It was brown water, slimy mould all through it and even miss growing in it. For $170 a night, it was an absolute rip off.

Reviewed By GREG LWe were to be going here from interstate for a wedding but due to covid lock down 3 weeks ago we were unable to go The booking was made over the phone with Justin and payment done the same way the only email from the stated the dates and price nothing about refunds We canceled when lock down was announced and they said there would be no refund {$400} telling him why we had to cancel he said email the details which we did now after 3 emails no answer I find this so rude I understand times are difficult but we all need to support each other Lock down was the only reason for us to cancel we could not fly in or out Justin at no time told us no refund and Justin will not even respond to our emails Worst service ever I have traveled the world a lot we will be back in this area at a latter but will never think of staying here

Reviewed By Dre VAll positive reviews are for previous owner. I was hoping I would have the same experience after reading the reviews but I was wrong. Staff were rude and not very welcoming at all. Room reflected the price. I also didn’t expect front of house man in my room 20 mins before checkout while I was out placing stuff in my car. I won’t be staying here again.

Quiet and clean motel
Reviewed By Rob THad a very pleasant stay at Aristocrat Waurnvale motel. Room although probably a bit dated in some peoples opinion, was in excellent condition and very comfortable for a short stay. Set in a quiet rural setting its hard to believe you are so close to Geelong. Cleanliness of room was above average and price was more than reasonable. Motel is easy enough to find and parking is good. Would certainly stay again.
