It felt like our group was ticking the tasks on the tour at points it felt like we were having an experience similar to that you'd find in a taxi :(. Our guide didn't give blurbs about the signifigances of many of the larger stops and could've been more clear about what we were doing on the ferry/cruise. Lunch is a big grazing box probably built for two but it's given out one per person so go there hungry or BYO doggy bag. The bewry should be made optional as our group was not interested in beer tasting although the location was pretty.

This intimate tour, specially designed for couples and friends, will take you to three of The Bellarine Peninsula’s most notable wineries; Oakdene Vineyard, Scotchman’s Hill Winery & Jack Rabbit Vineyard. You’ll begin with private tastings, lead by the Cellar Door Managers, at both Oakdene & Scotchman’s Hill. During these two hours, you will not only have the opportunity to sample their premium wines, but you will also learn, in-depth, just how each wine was created. Although Shiraz, Pinot Noir & Chardonnay are the flagship varietals of the region, there are many more to experience. You will then move on from the Tastings to a two hour, two-course indulgence, including entrée & main, with matched wines at Jack Rabbit Estate Restaurant.

Elvin made me very comfortable on a personalised Geelong tour, he has extensive local knowledge and is a great guide. I could have spent the whole tour at the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre, which has a range of works for sale at the gift shop and Art Gallery. Enjoyed a tasty breakfast, prepared by friendly staff, surrounded by native birds and landscape. Walking around the Centre was reinvigorating, and included encounters with kangaroos etc. I would like to join the Cultural Education session next time. Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary is an animal refuge that operates as a small zoo, which does its best considering it seems not government funded. Thanks for looking after me so well Elvin, and the great conversations!
