Was looking for somewhere to eat with some colleagues while on a business trip, and came across excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. However, I too was beginning to question where we would end up as we walked there from Promenade des Anglais. Definitely not on the main tourist track, but more than compensated for by the extremely friendly and genuine welcome by Andre and his team. Menu is small and changing constantly, but everything was excellent. Food, with wine and complimentary grappas was less than 40 Euros per person - excellent value for money!

Awesome experience - my wife and I have been to many different restaurants in the area - but OMG PM has been quite a revelation. Everything was most enjoyable, the set menue delicious, the wine (from the very limited selecton) excellent - we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and made sure to reserve for our next visit.

Visited with my wife and 2 daughters for diner.Lovely, clean, modern room with plenty of room between tables to maintain privacy.Great, welcoming staff with the front of house run by one of the owners while the other owner is the chef.For starter I had a salad of tomatoes, strawberries and a basil foam. It was stunning, one of those dishes you occasionally get which makes the meal outstanding.The main was a fish of the day with a soup like sauce and vegetables and barley which was very tasty.The desert was cherry cheesecake with a hidden tarragon centre. Again this was delicious.All in all a fantastic evening, great friendly atmosphere and wonderful food.My one negative......I probably didnât need 2 pieces of cheesecake!

My husband and I tried La Cucina after finding it on TA, and we were not disappointed! Itâs a very small cute restaurant seating only ~12 people or so, but we went very early as we were dining with our baby. Whilst it was a tight squeeze, the staff were super accommodating to pull up a spare chair, put a cushion on it and throw a blanket over too. The waiter was very attentive and so friendly to both my husband and I, as well as bub! Food wise - delicious! We ordered the beef tartare which was different to how weâve had it at home (Melbourne), a bit more on the dry side, but it was so good. The flavours were fresh and tasty. We both ordered the truffle pasta for main which was just amazing. So good!! And the tomato and basil pasta for our baby was so fresh and the sauce so rich and home made...we just couldnât fault it. Thank you for having us and for such a pleasant, friendly, lovely dinner!! Thank you very much lovely family â¥ï¸. Love your baby

The very small restaurant is simply the best. The owner takes pride in using own / local produce.The serving is not fast, so if you want a quick meal better not go. But the relax pace gives you time to enjoy the food. The owner has made it an art to pair the right olive oil with the right dish.We had a super Rose ( Château Demonpère, Cuvée Prestige, 2018).

Smallish cafe/restaurant in a residential area about 10 minutes walk from the tram line. Not touristy at all, and refreshingly unstuffy. Friendly welcome, and an English-speaking waitress to help us decipher the dishes. There's a small range of dishes (about 12) which are changed weekly. Good food with some imaginative twists. Mains are around 12-14 euros, which is excellent value considering the quality. I doubt this really is the best restaurant in Nice, but it's a great combination of friendly service, and good-value food which is definitely a cut above the normal restaurant fare. Easy to see why it's so popular with the locals.

This is a small bistrot in central Nice serving a menu which changes daily.The food is freshly prepared on the premises and extremely good value for the price.Part of the joy of the food is that it is simple food, beautifully prepared in a tiny kitchen. Most of the customers seemed to be local regulars, a strong recommendation for any restaurant.The decor was traditional bistro style, and very attractive.Starters, mains and puddings are all individually priced but at weekday lunchtimes 2 courses are 18⬠and 3 are 24â¬.We had a fig and feta tartine, delicious, followed by beef carpaccio with Roquefort and walnuts and pork loin in a rose mustard sauce with roasted vegetables. For pudding we had red fruits and a creme caramel, the latter accompanied by a financier, an excellent addition. Everything was very well cooked and presented.The owners were very friendly.For a full menu choice go early as once a dish is sold out it's sold out!A final mention for the homemade peach and mint iced tea, it was perfect.

Glad we had a reservation as it soon started to fill up and I soon found out why. My partner and I had copy cat orders and NOT disappointed. Our starter was mozzarella burritina covered with a type of pesto ...loved it.... with a small piece of bacon...along side a scoop of sherbet. Then came the best part which was the nice piece of veal over a mashed potato that was hard to figure out although, the potato could have had some grits and perhaps some cheese mixed in to fool the tongue...then a red wine reduction to drag your meat though. Top off the meal with a great red Rhone wine to swill it down. Then came the best part of the meal for the second time...dessert was a scoop of strawberry sorbet alongside a nice scoop of chocolate mousse that was to die for. ..with a dollop of caramel...and a huge blackberry and raspberry. We took our time with that for sure. We finished with an espresso and macaron. The only thing missing was a cigarette! We could not have been happier. Best meal yet in Nice! We had late reservations and had delicious pizza! The inside is very low-key, nothing fancy at all. We had the buffalo pizza and it was delicious and right out if the wood fire oven! Yum! Not to much choices for wine but enough for us to get a glass of rose and they had corona. Very nice place. Make reservations. No outdoor seating and outside of the touristy area. Service was by the owner and itâs a couples establishment.
