We came here searching for a tasty vegetarian (or at least pescatarian) meal; while we found that, we also found the best meal weâve had in France! Weâre still looking for excuses to return to Nice just to eat here again.We started our wonderful dinner with an order of vegetable samosas, very good, and a delicious bottle of rosé wine from Saint-Tropez. Service was excellent and our food came out promptly.For the main course, we had Salmon Tikka, which came with regular rice, and Vegetable Korma. We ordered Kashmiri Rice to go with the korma; that was our best decision of the night, short of coming in here in the first place. The Kashmiri Rice was amazing, perfectly seasoned and mixed with pieces of dried papaya and other fruits. It was tender and went wonderfully with both the korma and salmon, just as we imagine it would go well with most of the rest of the menu. The vegetable korma was also quite nice in itself, served with whole cashews in the sauce and sliced almonds to garnish. The salmon was also wonderfully seasoned, served with lemon slices over the dry spices and onions. Our food was reasonably priced (actually phenomenally priced for a European tourist district, of all places) and the staff were excited to share it with us. We even called the manager over to tell him how amazing everything was and to give our compliments to the chef. This restaurant simply cannot be missed; stop in if you are anywhere nearby. We do recommend getting there early for dinner, as dinner service fills up quickly; however, even if you have to wait for a table, it is absolutely worth waiting for. We had dinner in this Vietnamese restaurant that offers the traditional dishes usually found (spring rolls, nems, rice, soups...).The prices are very reasonable and service was friendly too. Concerning the food, it was fine except the beef that was not very tender and I had to leave most of it.

We went at the restaurant quite late at 22:45 and initially the waiter said the kitchen was closed, however, after asking at the kitchen they called us in. We just experienced the same delicious taste of the food like in Vietnam. Prices were good according to Nice standards

We have been fortunate enough to enjoy Vietnamese food in dozens of restaurants in Vietnam, UK and Europe since we first encountered Vietnamese cuisine working in Paris 31 years ago. This evening we enjoyed an excellent meal in Restaurant China (should be renamed to reflect Vietnamese cuisine) enhanced by friendly efficient service by Manu. The Salt & Pepper Squid, Pho and Beef Salad with Lemongrass were all excellent.The restaurant is small and popular enough to turn people away 30:minutes after opening.We look forward to our next visit and trying some more dishes.

A renewed review (previously reviewed 2017). We compared Sushi Lune to Kamogawa (Nice) and since Kamogawa seems to have changed for the worse, an update is due. For some reason, the quality in Kamogawa has now declined, at least at lunch (tea, starter and dessert ok, otherwise everything a bit off). This means Sushi Lune is now a better choice than before.We ordered a bunch of sushi and miso soup (prices moderate, 2 unagi nigiris 4,50 â¬, miso soup 3,50 â¬, avocado maki 4,70 ⬠etc.). Miso soup was weak. Almost no taste. But Kamogawa had the same quality, it's not easy to find better in Nice. This time the sushi rice was relatively good, most possibly better than in most/all other places in Nice. Avocado, cucumber, wasabi, gari, surimi good. Anguille (unagi) average (not too much taste, a bit smallish, but ok, could order again). (By the way we didn't see if soy and wasabi is included, but as it turns out they are included and it's not necessary to order them separately in the Deliveroo app).Out of choices in Nice, Sushi Lune is recommendable for sushi.

Dined here expecting a French take on Indochinese or Thai cuisine.Also expected a much larger selection of offerings. The food was of satisfactory standard but was certainly not inspiring.I suspect that this is due to the lack of competition in this particular cuisine sector, here in Nice and the local clientele have not much choice or exposure to the explosion of spices, tastes and aromas, that true Thai cuisine is all about. Good value for money and pleasant service.

Visited this restaurant after reading many positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Food was definitely very tasty. Very impressed with the large prawns served. Place is a little away from the popular tourist areas, but is worth the effort travelling off the beaten path. Advise taking care when ordering, as we were charged for 2 portions of the chicken satay, when we ordered one portion. Didnât want to make a fuss about this, as the owner was pleasant and the food was good. Thank you for your nice comment. However to answer the misunderstanding concerning your addition, you should have asked me for explanations if you did not understand. I charged you 1 Thai chicken for 9 ⬠and 2 chicken dishes (including 1 chicken with satay and 1 chicken curry) at 8.5 ⬠each that you ordered. There is no error and there is no double billing.Best regards

Don't be fooled by the exterior, once inside you will be greeted warmly and they so want you to have a lovely experience. The Sushi is amazing the sushi chef takes real pride in presenting the best sushi I've ever tasted. Hubby not into sushi was not disappointed his salmon teriyaki was sublime accompanied by the best sticky rice. Service and food a definite 10, one restaurant in nice not to miss.

Very nice reception. Obviously dedicated and clever people, also with a bit of humor, which is always nice.Great intro with superb Vietnamese tortellinilike deep fried dumplings. Stunning presentation and taste. Chili sauce could have been better, if it was homemade.The Pho soup was very good, but the chicken stock could have been a bit more concentrated.The beef salad was good, not stunning.Sevice was outstanding.
