Great place for foodies

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with large, luxurious rooms. It is known mainly as a gastronomic hotel which is why it was included on our Flavours of Catalonia walking holiday. We arrived on a Sunday early in May and the hotel was pretty full. We had an amazing tasting menu with top- level service. On the Monday we were the only ones there and they managed to put on a sensational meal just for us. And that’s why we rate it five stars.

A lovely stay

Reviewed By juliams96

We’re not particularly demanding when it comes to hotels - just want a place to wash and sleep. The hotel was lovely - the rooms were clean and the bathrooms nicely decorated. The staff were lovely too and made sure we had everything we needed. Free parking was available which we appreciated. Also, we really enjoyed the breakfast - it had everything we needed, croissants, cereal and savoury choices too. Overall, we would definitely come back!

Hotelet del Bac

A bucolic oasis, perfect for exploring the Camprodon region

Reviewed By Matt D

Hotelet del Bac is a meticulously and beautifully restored and repurposed stone farmhouse with views over Camprodon and the Ter valley to die for. Rocio the manager host was very welcoming and helping with advice on restaurants and activities. The atmosphere is very relaxed but with plenty of attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return. It´s a great base to explore the area and there are a couple of family rooms available that we might check out next time. We had the “Romantic Weekend” pack but I believe there are ski and golf options too which discounts on ski passes and green fees.

The location, the price and the stuff are making it a hit

20 meters from a charming beach, this is a perfect place for relaxing without paying premium. The rooms are basic, some only with a fan and no a/c, but the stuff are very friendly and helpful. Bikes are available for free so you can ride along the strip that is running along the beach. They will even provide you with an umbrella for the beach to keep you of the sun. Parking is difficult in the area, but the hotel does offer covered parking for a fee. The beach is literaly on the door step of the hotel.

Hostal Nova Barcelona

Great value for money and very welcoming!

Reviewed By lucycopp

Me and my friend stayed at this hostal last september. Really it didn't feel like a hostal at all we had our own twin room with a bathroom. We found the place very welcoming with the man at the desk being very helpful. It's close to public transport so you can easily get to main attractions in Barcelona. One thing we did find a bit odd is it was really hard to find because its in like an apartment building where other people live, and you have to press on a buzzer to get in the main door and then another buzzer to get in the hostal. This wasn't an issue as the man behind behind the desk was always quick to let us in, but it is a pain if you've just got outside and you've left something in your room you have to buzz in all over again. No complaints about the noise. We had a TV with plenty of channels as well and the room was always clean.

Great & charming stay !

Reviewed By Willy V

We had an excellent 4-day stay in DV Barcelona. Very well-equipped rooms and loft. All very clean and good isolation. Great and comfortable beds. The indoor parking is a great advantage. Metro nearby (150m) very clean, practical, and safe. Due to an unfortunate incident of car crime (rear tire punctured while standing in line, but luckily, I was able to escape further consequences), we were unable to fully enjoy our stay, but a lot was made up for by the staff of the house. Charming, sweet, and very helpful staff they managed to help us, and everything went perfectly.

Value for money

Reviewed By callanc2019

Firstly, the level of customer service was excellent. Really above and beyond what is expected. For this reason alone, if I return to Barcelona I would give my custom to Kiwidestiny. The apartment was spacious, with an incredibly large outside patio area. I can imagine in summer how wonderful it would be (although the views are of backs of buildings) The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. A fully functional kitchenette. Shower was, well, temperamental, but when in the sweet spot was a pleasure. Wifi was, patchy, but serviceable with good speeds. Communal areas are well maintained and pretty. The only negative of my trip was that some building work was being completed, which meant no lay ins. Kiwidestiny is about 30 minutes from "the strip" which we really enjoyed. A really beautiful area, with you could need close by.
