We are an Italian restaurant and bar located on Flinders Lane in Melbourne CBD. Open from breakfast through to late night, serving handmade pasta, pizza and modern Italian cuisine. Our pasta is prepared from scratch each day in our kitchen, using a specia
10 of us had team dinner at this place. Located in busy CBD location, this place offer good food, good service and overall good experience. I tried the calamari that was great, the fussioloni that was ok, the buffalo side salad that was great and the tiramisu that was great. Service was good, good wine selection and all in all we had good time.

Attending the Grand on high recommendation of friends I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time We ordered the degustation menu, 6 courses and optional matching wines which we passed on.Radicchio with balsamic vinegar , pear and a delicious creamy cheese purée was incredible with bold intense flavours Duck liver parfait on home made brioche Gnocchi with burnt butter and sage Spanish mackerel Mushroom risotto (signature dish of the restaurant)Porterhouse steak Italian donut with coffee ice creamThe serving sizes were just right given the number of courses you are very well fed The food is faultless and cooked superbly, the flavours are bold and intense and beautiful.A note for all business owners however We had one young lady with an eastern euro accent who was lovely, attentive and engaging The second waiter mid 40s possibly French was a disaster and would deter me from returning or recommending this restaurant He practically dropped the plates on the table when he served and described the meal he was providing as âthe steakâ or âice creamâHe was walking away from the table before the plate had stopped vibrating - it was as though he was angry at our presence I watched him serve numerous tables with the same attitude I would never tolerate behaviour like this in my business ...

Its hard to find fault with this Little Collins Street Italian culinary institution. As you would expect the bread is served warm, with a crusty outer layer, chewy and with artisan olive oil, the perfect start to excite the sensors. We shared half-a-dozen oysters, and then promptly ordered another six-of-the best. and they were the best, oysters I have ever had. And, I have been fortunate enough to have indulged in Oysters across four continents. We had the 2015 Lobethal Rd Chardonnay. You pay $45 at Dan Murphy. At Il Bararo it's a very reasonable $75. So with the wine, I had the spectacular pesce del giorno (fish of the day). My wife the equally delicious Cannelloni. Accompaniment was insalata di rucola (fresh green salad). The simple things in life are always the best.Staff, well they are just fabulous Italian peacocks, wonderful and engaging. Love this place.

We read the Brilliant TA reviews and eventually found the 11 minute down a side street off Little Collins St. Itâs a rapid service there hence the title so fortunately tables come available quickly. The salami pizza and prawn salad that we chose were amazing along with the lovely Cabinet offering. Great service from Londoner Ali which was a delight. Do not miss this fantastic pizzeria, fab value at a great price.

We loved the entire experience in Da Guido. Be the Italian dishes made to perfection and very courteous friendly staff, the overall ambience, everything was remarkable. We ordered the Calamari salad, Duck breast with cocktail potatoes, seafood spaghetti and Seared Salmon with Avocado, along with Chianti...everything was perfect! Fine dining restaurant that gives you an unforgettable experience! Keep it up.

Looking for a new Italian in the city we went here based on Trip Advisor's positive reviews.Good looking room that is deceiving from the outside. Light wood and well spaced tables made it a comfortable space.Ordered Rocket & pear salad, Salmon Caserecce pasta and Salumi pizza. Salad and pizza were excellent and good portions. Quality ingredients on all. The pizza base was just right and stayed crispy in the middle unlike many wood fired pizzas were you end up with a soggy middle. My partner enjoyed the Caserecce but found the portion size a bit small commenting that I would still be hungry had I ordered it. Had a good Valpolicella Ripasso to go with it. $130 for the meal with wine being half of the bill.Service was excellent - prompt, friendly, not pretentious or hovering.Worth noting the pasta prices at Da Guido 365 are less than their location in Lygon street.Open for lunch and dinner but closed from 3-6 in the afternoon.Very much enjoyed this meal and will be back ourselves and with friends.

Small yet stunning ambience and surprisingly quiet given close proximity to fellow diners. Not many places open on a Sunday and an easy walk from the Stamford Hotel where we were staying. All the staff were friendly and courteous and the food was simply divine. The gnocchi was feather and cloud like in texture and very delicious, ok everything was delicious to save time and energy. All in all a very enjoyable dinner.

We had a fabulous evening at this wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant. Our waiter, Enrico, was attentive and the service was first rate. We had the focaccia with olive tapenade to start and I had the gnocchi with wagyu beef for main - both courses were wonderful and beautifully presented. All in all I highly recommend this restaurant and just wish theyâd move it to Sydney!!!

Our 'local' turned out to e a highlight of our Melbourne stay. From the minute we stepped inside this tiny [27 sq m!] restaurant we felt at home. Our waitress, Carolina, was a gem - ensuring always that we had enough water and wine, and were enjoying our food, without ever being intrusive. Everything is made on the premises and served up with Italian music in the background. Just fabulous and can't be recommended highly enough.
