We ate here as we were staying at the hotel opposite and it was recommend by the reception staff. We also had driven much that day and did not want to go into the centre of town.We were greeted warmly and the service and food was excellent - made fresh to order and delivered with a smile. The house wine was excellent and the bill a pleasant surprise. Happy to recommend

Pizzeria sympathique, la pate fine des pizzas est très savoureuse comme leurs garnitures, mais aussi les pâtes et les viandes. le jeune serveuse est au top, une barmaid accomplie pour les cocktails.. la patronne est accueillante, elle a du métier..

Style, quality of food and a nice welcome.Ignore disgruntled reviews, this is a fine carefully crafted restaurant you would expect to find in Sloane Square or Chelsea.I admire the owners in providing high quality Italian food at reasonable prices with a personal service.We will be back with friends. My favorite local creperie being closed for vacation and a taste for Italian brought me to La Toscane, one of three pizza restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel du Ville (there may be more that I have not yet found). Nice casual atmosphere, traditional thin crust pizza with a wide selection of ingredients and condiments to drop on top. Was pleased with the Salad Nicoise, nice size with fresh seared tuna and anchovies. Did not get the opportunity to try any of the "plats" but La Toscane will be on my list of places to return to for a further look.To boot, turns out the proprietor speaks pretty good English and enjoys the chance to practice it. Enjoy!

Having just spent a couple of hours traipsing around the wartime U-boat pens (well wort a visit), we had lunch here. It's great, there was no problem ordering a single pizza to share & I'm happy to recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in the harbour area of Saint Nazaire. Without a doubt one of the best Pizzarias I know. The base is superb and the ingredients fresh and delicious. The owners are welcoming and friendly and I will definitely return!
