We had been driving a long time and just needed a light meal. 16 was recommended by our hotel.Situated on the sea front, we could eat in or out, we chose inside as it was a little late.The waitress was very accommodating and gave us a table at the window.Oysters and baked Moru with an amazing sauce. Nice little unpretentious cafe with large selection of crepes but also four selections of plated "viandes" including beef, turkey breast in mushroom sauce, rabbit and my favorite lamb cutlets.At this time of year they also have fresh moules frites (mussels and fries) which I had on my first visit, big bowl, very moist in a white broth. After seeing the lamb cutlets on my first visit that has been my meal of choice on the last two and I was not disappointed. Two / three cutlets, bone in, light and flavorful brown sauce accompanied by frites and side salad. If you pass on the crepes for the entree they have a large selection for dessert, from simple to specials including flambe. They also have ice creams and coffee drinks. Nice, comfortable little place.

We truly all enjoyed our different galettes, followed by a sweet crêpe, delicious. the place is warm and welcoming, and the staff very friendly.

We stumbled on Tykaz when spending an afternoon seeing local sights. The restaurant is handily located opposite the local church so easy to find. Inside, my first impression was of a cosy little restaurant with friendly owners - Julien & Karine. Walking through the restaurant, we were surprised to find a large terrace and garden. The buildings around the restaurant provided a wind barrier, so the garden became a fabulous little suntrap - perfect for those post-lunch coffees. Definitely worth a visit, I hear the food is great quality too!

We go there after looking to another place, but the bkue smañl facade and huge window to the street invited us to go into. The food is very nice and the service for the cooker/owner/waiter ( yes he does everything ¡¡¡) was excellent, even these guy didn't understand foreign lenguages. Very small place but cool¡¡¡

In the centre of St nazaire, staff are very friendly , was there when they had a special event the ambiance was great .The food is great , products are fresh and typically french.The restaurant deco is very cute ,very well decorated.If you want a taste of authentic French food.I highly recommend Le huitème restaurant.Thanks for your lovely message !!! On a Tuesday evening we got the last table, most people had booked and they were turning people away. We had the E19.90 menu (3 courses) and it was excellent. There was a good choice of fresh fish, all the food was expertly prepared and presented, certainly a "restaurant gastronomique". The service was very friendly and efficient, excellent food at an excellent price.

I went there tonight with my husband and my 2 years old son, we tried their set menu which had buffet starter and fish main course and buffet dessert ,it was so nice, starter buffet was so different fro. What you get In the UK, the waiter was so nice and polite and the table were having a nice burger which I'm planning to try next time I go there :)), however my husband had the dish of the day which was a bit disappointing as it was very dry and very small portion, all in all I enjoyed my night.
