We watched the World cup final during our stay at the hotel at the bar. We had a local beer and very good antipasti. The atmosphere was very nice, with different people from different parts of the world enjoying a good football match. Our server was very nice and attentive and spoke a bit of Spanish. We had a very good time there...We very much appreciate the wonderfully detailed review! It brings us true pride to hear that you had such an excellent experience staying with us in Davos. It is very nice to meet someone who appreciates our staff as much as we do! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Best Regards Ingo Schlösser and the Ameron Davos Swiss Mountain Resort Team.

Just visited the place with my family and I must say it was worth every penny. Really super friendly staff nice atmosphere. And the pizza was one of the best I had for a long, long time.

The Alpino Italian restaurant is located inside of the Intercontinental Davos. The interior is typically Italian and furnished tastefully. We had the antipasti as a starter followed by the risotto for me and the pizza for my wife. The antipasti which you can get yourself from the buffet were very good and so was my risotto. But the pizza was below average, a bit fluffy and made with tasteless cheese.Value for money is good. They have pasta starting at 12.50 CHF which is excellent value for Davos.Dear Jamesfood,Let us upfront thank you for the valuable feedback. We are glad that you like the value for money in our restaurant and that you enjoyed the antipasti and risotto. The pizzas are made by our Italian Pizzaiolo and do usually get very good feedback. Nevertheless we will certainly take your feedback as a word to further improve the quality and consistency of our pizza and hope that we can welcome you again during your next visit to Davos. Your Al Pino Team

We spent one night in Davos on our way to Lauterbrunnen and had not realized that May was off season and most restaurants were closed. We enjoyed an Italian dinner at this small restaurant of salads, penne regate and a spicier pasta dish. By Swiss standards, the cost, with wine was a modest 90 CHF. Service was polite and non intrusive, which we like.

Eaten here a couple of times....arrived one evening without booking and gave me a table The pizza is great. This time I had grilled chicken with salad which was fab. They have a English menu which they usually save for Donald Trump but they let me use it! Thank You for my table and lovely food. I think this restaurant is shut on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Looking forward to going here again.

first of all, I'm Italian and I normally avoid pizzerie & the sort outside Italy. But kids were clamouring for pizza so we went and it was so good that we even returned a couple of nights later. All the pizze we ate were delicious but I suggest, if you feel like having something different, their pizza without mozzarella & tomato sauce. Granted, it's not your traditional Margherita but it's lighter and very tasty.Service is good, hopefully not just because I spoke Italian with the personnel, but be aware that it can get quite busy on weekends and one could have a longer wait for food because lots of people come for takeaway pizza.

Really got lucky on this one. We were in Davos for WEF and there were not many restaurants that had a table available. We got the last one at Restaurant Excellent, and we were so happy we did. We ordered 2 pizzas for 2 of us, which was probably one pizza too many, but we wanted to try a couple kinds. Got the spicy salami and the prosciutto and mushroom. Both were so delicious. Highly recommend.

This our second visit to Davos and we love the food in Ristorante da Elio. The pizza and wine are amazing and staff friendly. It's also reasonably priced for Davos.

vielfältige Spezialitäten - regional - und international - keine vegane Küche - beste Qualität zu fairen Preisen - persönlicher und gepflegter Service
We discovered this cosy restaurant last month as itâs conveniently located by the cross-country ski tracks. There are other things on the menu too, but when thereâs a proper stone hearth pizza oven the choice is always the same for us! We loved the food, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, but most of all the fantastic service! Not very often you find a restaurant in Switzerland where every single waitress (we only saw women working here which is maybe the reason itâs so nice?!) is lovely and welcoming and serves the food with a smile! Weâll be back for sure the next time weâre in Davos!

Every time we come to the Alpenhof Restaurant in Davos Chef Roberto amazes us with his culinary skills and super friendly Italian charm. Todayâs Sea Bass, prepared (baked) over sea salt, was just amazing, my tastebuds could not get enough of all the delicious flavors. Just so happy we found this wonderful restaurant in 2016 and that we are able to come back as often as possible - weâll be back for dinner again before heading back to Zurich. PS: no meal would be complete without a glass of Robertoâs Limoncello and/or Grappa (made in southern Italy by his brother).
