My wife and I returned to Casa do Campo post the summer rush. All I can say is Great Food, Great Service and a Great Atmosphere too.It is just very special and it has been for years.

We were recommended Thai Bistro by some friends who live part of the year in Thailand and know what good Thai food tastes like! We were not disappointed. The main courses were exceptional. We over-ordered as we didn't realise portion sizes were so large - but would definitely recommend the dishes we had: Pad Thai, Chicken with Chilli & Basil, John Dory in curry sauce. The starters of 'money bags' and chicken satay were delicious. The setting of the restaurant is also really nice - it is tucked away in Valverde, just off the Q roundabout at Quinta do Lago, and with the choice of inside or alfresco dining it can accomodate all weathers. If you're wearing shorts we would recommend taking something to sit on, as the seat cushions are plastic and not very comfortable!The downside of the evening was the service - we waited over an hour for our starter but as this was our first time we can't tell if that is normal or not. Definitely worth a visit.

We just loved this place! Everything on the menu looked so good. The ingenious part is that you can order half portions so we got to try everything! The ceviche was the best I have ever tried and the flavors were so interesting. I wanted to drink the marinade it was so good! We also ordered the fish and chips, steak, duck, all prepared to perfection. Even the drinks were fantastic and they make a delectable passion fruit mojito. They were very accommodating on my gluten free restrictions and highlighted an entire menu so I knew what I could eat. The food was very good especially my starter of Grilled King Prawn - unfortunately the mushroom starter lacked imagination and was a bit dry. The Chateaubriand was excellent could have been exquisite with some different veg -peas werenât good.Unfortunately smoking is permitted at the outside bar and at the dining tables - some people happily light a cigarette while other diners are eating without any though or consideration for others - would benefit from a designated smoking area well away from diners or a no smoking policy

Cheapish and food comes quickly, in decent size portions, with a smile but thatâs about it. Food uninspiring visually and to eat. Cocktails poor, ambience and decor average at best. Oh, and the trainline runs literally down the side of the restaurant, which was amusing I suppose.Wouldnât go back.

This restaurant came highly recommended and although it doesn't look anything special from the outside we certainly couldn't fault the quality of the food. The starters and mains were very well presented and amazing. Our waiter, Fabio, was very helpful particularly when it came to choosing local wines. Nothing was too much trouble and everything he did was with a smile on his face. We only met the chef, Pedro, when we leaving but he was full of enthusiasm and obviously loves his job. Not the cheapest meal we had whilst holidaying in the Algarve but certainly one of the best. Highly recommended.

We stayed nearby and walked into Santa Barbara for lunch. We happened upon this little restaurant. One of best meals during our 17 days in Portugal: Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Maderia island.... we found out they had only been open 6 days!! Husband and wife are owners. Service great.Went back that evening for dessert and Cappuccino but also ended up ordering more of their cold carrot dish......sooooo delicious. He even gave us recipe. Henrique Leis is the most superior fine dining restaurant in The Algarve, the menu changes periodically thus allowing me to sample another gastronomic delight. I fully appreciate the artistry and quality of the food, the professionalism of all the staff and of course as a family run business this is the foundation upon which the restaurant promotes its passion excellence for fine dining. I can recommend the fois gras of duck and goose and the veal tenderloin...simply divine!!

The food was extremely good but what made the evening was the ambience but fantastic service from all team. They had really got it right and set a marker that other restaurants so far haven't met. Highly recommend and if we cant get back this visit on the top of list for next visit. Thankyou for great evening.
