We came here around 6 years ago and remember having a lovely meal, returning more recently this place still not dissappoint. Travelling around Andalusia I noticed vegetarian food was more hard to come by, but De La Mar had plenty of options. I ordered the veggie burger and did not anticipate much for â¬6.75, but the burger was huge and the patty looked home made. The side of vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. The food was slow to come out, but there only appeared to be one chef working - given all the food came out hot, well cooked and delicious, this was not a problem. The waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. The portions are generous and well priced, you will not leave hungry!

Came across this bar whilst wandering around - great find, great service, good prices and food was excellent. Fairly simply straight forward menu, salads, Tapas, Burgers and a few other bit. Highly recommended and just across the road from main beach in small square.

We stumbled across this restaurant looking for somewhere to eat for 8 people. The town was really busy but the waiter took time to sort a table for us. The food was amazing and really good value for money

My Wife and I had lunch here and was impressed by the friendly service and good food.The Bar is situated at the edge of a pleasant open area with plenty to watch while savouring a drink. Very reasonable prices and therefore recommended.

I visit this restaurant every trip as its always great food and service. I had a fantastic tortellini with a spicy tomato sauce to start followed by a fillet steak with jacket potato. The meat was superb and the service excellent. Our waiter Antonio has been looking after me for 20 years at La Traviata and also at Mandarin palace before. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Duquesa port and it also has a great view.

popped into this restaurant for tapas as Casa Pepe below in the square served only dinners. In the event we had bulls-tail ravioli. Really excellent. Accompanied by a good red wine it made a really outstanding dinner completed by coffee from a caffeteria. Charming waitress too. Restaurant closes early (9.30pm)

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary there. Welcome with two glasses of cava from the house. The view is spectacular, all the way up to Morocco. The terrace is not too large about half a dozen tables with sufficient distance between them to make you own space. For starters, we shared the selection of Iberican meat. Abundant and high quality ham. For the main course, the sirloin steak and the pork tenderloin, each perfectly cooked and tasty (really satisfying). We had one shared desert, one, expresso, sparkling water and a bottle of Lopez de Haro (Rioja, the most expensive on the carta, still under 20 euros) that was excellent. We drank only half the bottle (the road back to coast is sufficiently winding...) and took the rest with us.From start to end, perfect. (I forgot, total bill 80 euros, which seems very reasonable to me).There are other restaurants in Gaucin. We don't know them, it was our first visit. In choosing, you may note that all the reviews of Atico this year are a 5 and you may want to pay attention to the direction of the view from the terraces.

The terrace at this restaurant is lovely with beautiful views across the golf course. It has a very relaxed feel and a varied menu. They also have great live music, one young girl in particular has a fantastic voice. Their pizzas are the best around but also a lovely place to stop in and have coffee or a sundowner. Very family friendly.

We recently visited this restaurant as the reviews suggested it was suitable.I was somewhat disappointed as I felt it's not really family friendly, I suppose the fact that there's no kid's menu might have warned us. The view, I must admit is good, but the service was poor and the food was only average. Dry, over cooked calamari is not what I expected, will not be returning.
