We stayed in the room featured in the picture for 2 nights on our way to FNQ. Rooms are decorated Hampton Style and have pretty much everything you might want/need for a comfortable stay. On site laundry was very handy and as others have said, plenty of options of where to dine just outside your door. Susan was very helpful and calming when news of flash flooding in places we were headed to were making the news. Susan, we made it to Mission Beach unscathed where it continues to rain. Heading for Palm Cove tomorrow. Thanks again for all your help. Wally's Weather has been a saviour.

Fantastic place to stay

Reviewed By wandao780

We stayed for 2 nights in these apartments and they were amazing. We were on the 3rd floor with an ocean view and although there was a main road out the front of the place it was very quiet in the night time. It was very clean and everything you needed was there for our stay. It was lovely to sit on the huge balcony and watch the ocean and all the activity that passed by. Plenty of restaurants and shops just below where you stay, a short ride in the lift and you are there. Make sure you try the New Zealand Ice cream and the we had the take away Thai it was delicious. Check-in was very easy with a very nice lady at the desk. I would recommend these apartments. Great spot for getting sunrise/sunset photos.

Noisy weekend

Reviewed By 1201marilyn

Great spot, lovely hosts, but holiday spoilt by loud party both Friday / Saturday afternoons and into the night. Young folk enjoying themselves I accept, but to have other family’s holiday disrupted by one group isn’t great for enticing return visitors.. The unit although dated is comfortable, but parts needed a good scrub .

OK Motel

OK Motel but out of the way.Rooms are a.decent size as are bathrooms. All rooms appear to be upstairs. At $150 a night I thought this was overpriced. Next time I'd look for something closer to the town and restaurants as all you have to choose from out there is a pub.

Sail inn for a comfy stay

Reviewed By BundyBoomers

Sail inn, a small yet cosy and clean motel in James Street at Yeppoon is just a great place to bed down at the end of the day. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and warmly welcomed. Our family room was plenty big enough for three adults, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the decor was simple and modern. Our room was quiet with minimal outside noises heard. Walking distance to everything you could possibly desire for a short or long stay. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed

Letter of complaint

Reviewed By L7453IOmeganw

Experienced disgusting behaviour from the manager Sam. He demanded we leave the pool area due to us having our own alcohol and some alcohol being in glass bottles. The bar wasn't opened, we had been told by another staff member that we could have our own drinks etc. He called us liars, demanded we leave the venue and made us show him our ID - all without him identifying himself. We understand that glass could be unsafe and we were understanding of that. Walked past the pool to see that others had brought their own alcohol and had glass bottles in the same space. They were not treated with hostility of any kind and the bar was open at this point in time. For a person who is a manager, he escalated a situation that could have been resolved calmly. We will not be staying at this venue again. A detailed letter of complaint has been emailed to the owners and reception.
