Reviewed By OuweEekhoornFirst of all the hotel is very big! Massive amount of people on the sundeck and in the breakfast area. You see the struggle to maintain the hotel everywhere due to its size. But still price quality is good! Also the view around from the hotelnis beautiful. Casino is fun also! Service is also good in general.

Reviewed By dorothyo342Superb location next to the beach and surrounded by great little restaurants. Excellent accommodation and decent food at breakfast. Helpful staff made this stress free and so relaxing. Even though the hotel was full it didn't feel like it. Great that there is a pool on the roof which we used when it was too cool to swim in the sea.

Reviewed By GSeaI had such a great break for a couple of days to Evidencia Belverde, the spa treatment was exceptional my first day, I was able to get into my room early so was able to rest a bit after my journey. The staff were very helpful and made sure my stay was comfortable. I spent the day out on the Balinese sun beds outside reading a book the next day, which was amazing. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and when it's sunny it's lovely to sit outside on the terrace. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and that was good too. All in all, great hotel, very good rates and well trained staff that make sure your stay is comfortable.

Reviewed By joeroMy wife and I are back from a week stay in the Sesimbra Hotel & Spa. We were both very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is spotless . The staff throughout the hotel are very nice and helpful. The Pool area is lovely with lots of sunbeds. The room was very spacious with a good size bathroom and a good shower which were always cleaned to perfection . The balcony is also a good size with a stunning view but the sun did not quite shine on ours but it was lovely to sit out at anytime such was the great weather. We were on the tenth floor. There was a good choice at breakfast like breads, juices,cereals,fruit, pastries and hot food ( we would have liked to see some changes to the hot food during the week though). The location was great and close to the town center , restaurants, bars, cafe,s bus station. I would highly recommend the Sesimbra Hotel and Spa.

For what I paid this was a great find
Reviewed By johnwE704IWBooked this based on location and price. I was there to do some diving and this hotel was on the doorstep. Driving to it is not straight forward, especially if you just want to drop someone off. Once inside, reception staff were there to instantly greet me. From other hotels I have stayed in before in Portugal, they just require an ID e.g. your driving licence.. I had 4 forms of ID with me but they insisted they needed my ID number!! I explained to them that British people do not have an ID number. Luckily I remembered my passport number so they accepted that. They then gave me a brief of where everything was. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. It has an indoor heated pool, great for this time of year, and an outdoor pool. There is a bar with some fantastic views of the beach, especially from it veranda. I'd say this without a doubt is the selling point of the hotel. Rooms are on 9 floors split into 2 complexes. Therefore you need to take a lift down to floor 5, walk along the corridor to then get into lifts for floors 1 to 5. This also takes you to the beach from where you can exit (reception is top floor where the car park is). The room was lovely and did the job. Great view from it as well. Minus points, the TV was the size of an i-pad and there was no kettle or tea/coffee. Bar prices were ok e.g. it was 5.50 euro for a pint of Heineken. breakfast was a mixture of continental and cooked, but it didn't start until 8am which was a bit of an issue for me having to be at the dive centre by 8:30. Over all I would happily stay there again at the price I paid. Location is great and views fantastic.

Reviewed By NinewindsStayed here recently for just one night, passing through. Family run place in centre of a pleasant town off the tourist trail. Made to feel welcome immediately from walking through the door, with some nice personal touches. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is good. There is free overnight parking outside on the street. Some interesting characters hanging around outside in the area but no problem leaving an expensive car outside overnight. I recommend you stay here.

Beach View stunning- rooms a little tired.
Reviewed By Nicola rHaving stayed here in 2019 we were looking forward to our trip here again. The rooms were the same as last time, clean and comfortable however looking a little dated. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room and an charge of €2 for coffee room service. The indoor spa area was closed- this was something that no-one had informed us on booking. The roof top sun area was also closed unfortunately. The breakfast was good with hot and continental choice- really liked the pancakes. Lunch by the pool was really tasty. The staff were friendly throughout especially front desk and the bar. Cocktails were great and good selection of drinks. I didn't see the Red Dragon restaurant (part of the hotel) open at all whilst there. The local area is tired in some places but maybe once the tourism picks up again this will improve. The walk along the beach front is great and a good few places to stop for drinks and snacks.
