Delightful Stay
Reviewed By Tour811959We were travelling back from Southern Spain to the UK and found this wonderful Hotel near the Irun Border. It is absolutely wonderful, quite the high light of our tip. So convenient for the motorway but off the beaten track and seemingly miles away from the stress and hassle of everyday life. The food was amazing , prepared by Ane, the chef and owner. The views from the room were so tranquil it was such a shame that we only had one night here. It exudes love and care which is the ethos of the owners. I truly wonderful hidden gem.

What Amazing Service!
Reviewed By LesleyS660We drove up the windy rural road to Hotel Usategieta. In the depths of Covid, it was like the Marie Celeste. We knocked on the door and were immediately greeted by the owner, who checked us in and showed us to our spacious room, with a view over the gardens and surrounding hills. We went for a long walk in the hills and then went down for dinner. We were the only people in the hotel! Literally just the two of us! Lovely dining room all laid out and candlelit, so great ambiance. The service was impeccable, the wine excellent, the steak tender. Ditto for breakfast- laid out as if they were expecting dozens of guests, but no.. just us. They honestly treated us like gold! I highly recommend this rustic rural hotel, if that's what you like (we do). I hope they survive the covid lockdown. They certainly deserve to!

Reviewed By zeljkoj979Very clean, good service, comfortable for the price you pay. Do not expect anything from the location except that you can be in 15 min in the city and main beaches? The view from the rooms is on not so nice to see parking spaces, but if you just need a place to sleep and spend the rest of your time outside, it is definitely a good deal.

Quite family accomodation
Reviewed By AlerockWe were in the nearby and did not know where to go for the night. I found this place on Booking.com Very nice location in a quiet place with a large parking. Family run small hotel with restaurant. A somehow impractical way of check-in through an automatic machine (which was no so immediate to use !). Anyway very comfortable room, bed, bathroom; clean. Being quite late in the night, we asked for something to eat and we had some good ham and cheese with wine.

Reviewed By OntotheFutureMinimalist is the best description for the room. Comfortable, quite, very clean. Good shower and toilet. Lots of hot water. €52.0 for a single. 20km walking from Irun. A welcome stop for the night. Cafes etc.close by. Just across the road as you enter the town.

B&B in middle of nowhere
Reviewed By levaceFirstly, Although this place was in the middle of nowhere, For some reason we did not get that Farmhouse vibe, No Animals perhaps ? Anyway, it was a pleasant stay. Downsides, its a million miles from anywhere good to eat , The internet, only works in the lobby, And no TV in the rooms. Apart from that it was clean , Very quiet, and good value for money

Nice Family Hotel near Zarautz and San Sebastián
Reviewed By ASMshanghaiI spent 3 nights in this hotel. Quality price is amazing ?. If you want to walk around Zarautz , San Sebastián and San Jeant de Luz, this is the perfect place!!!! You could arrive in 15/ 20 minutes everywhere by car. The old man who is in the hotel, is a great man !!!!

Reviewed By Susan BTurned up to this (hotel) the door was locked so we rang the bell. O.M.G the proprietor came to open the door with his shirt covered in food. No greeting, he went behind his counter gave us a key & pointed up and was gone. The room (flea pit) was outdated dark and dirty. We walked straight out to telephone booking. Com to complain & cancel. The proprietor took the key off me and shut the door. So I'm warning you out there STAY CLEAR from this flea pit. I had to put star to carry on with the review but it deceives none.
