Reviewed By Anthony DAll the facilities in the room were operational and clean and it made for a good pit stop on the way to the Alps. A supermarket around the corner allowed for provisioning and a fuel fill up. Breakfast is very satisfactory and all round a great stop on the way to the Alps.

A lovely hotel and great value
Reviewed By homphompUnexpectedly stranded in Lons-le-Saunier, walked across the road from the station to the Au Terminus to find a room for the night. The hotel is a classic French building, very elegant, and we were greeted warmly by the helpful staff. It's a very short stroll from the hotel to the town centre. Our room was very comfortable, modern and well appointed with all you could need, very quiet despite being directly opposite the busy station. We had a delicious breakfast before heading off again. All in all a great stay and excellent value for money.

Reviewed By helasssI was expecting more. The room was somehow rugged, small windows and a renovation racks just behond it. Breakfast was guite basic, no eggs, no musli. I was considering to buy a pillow of my own after the first night, they were very thin and hard.

Reviewed By PeyiotisThis is a 2 star hotel but we think it would easily gain another star with a bit of maintenance to the paintwork in the hall area and a new hall carpet, plus tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Our room was very comfortable, with a lovely roomy shower and plenty of room in the bathroom for our things. The location was great, with only a short walk into the centre. We would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By Matthew CThankfully just one night here. Whilst it was in a heat wave it just accentuated there being no air con in the room and I only managed 2 hours sleep. That aside the room was compact and the bathroom even smaller. Devour is essentially brown and everything feels like it would have been hip in the 70’s. Communal areas are not a strong point either. Overall I’ve paid much less for much better. Staff were pleasant but clearly overworked.

La proximité du centre ville commercial et culturel est un atout pour l'Hôtel Résidence des Thermes. Ainsi vous pourrez profiter des animations lédonniennes.
Truly awful
Reviewed By cullings1As we drove to this place we became more depressed the closer we got, as the neighborhood became steadily worse. When we arrived it was obvious from the tagging on the buildings that we could not leave anything in the car or it'd be gone by morning. The first impression upon entering was of the smell. Like a boy's gym locker. The pictures do not represent the actual atmosphere, which is VERY spartan. The price seemed relatively low which would excuse some of this but given the add on charges ($20/day for WiFi for example) the value goes right out the window. Add to this the fact that the managers were the most taciturn we encountered in more than three weeks of France and the mediocre package was complete. We did not even stay. We booked another place in order to escape having to spend our last three nights in France in this pit, and ate the cost of paying for two rooms.
