Reviewed By Marian KPros: Good location, comfortable beds, clean room, breakfast better than most chains. Cons: Overpriced. Was never told when booking that water would be off for four hours during the day during our stay. The Wednesday afternoon front clerk was not very friendly and was not interested in hearing any complaints about water outage. Thursday afternoon front desk clerk very friendly. (Wished I would have gotten names) Ladies at breakfast all very nice. Hard to control room temps. Either freezing or warm- unable to control fan blower. In summary I would probably stay here agin but price would have to be lower.

Reviewed By StaunchestThe place was clean. Checked in online, but room wasn’t ready when I arrived. While waiting for room in lobby, maintenance guy plugged in some sprayer in lobby overwhelming the room with sanitizer or odorizer smell. Inconsiderate! The interior hallways looked like a war zone, in much need of a paint job on walls and doors. Toilet needed replacement flapper as it was constantly running. Low water pressure. AC worked well. Breakfast was standard HI fare, although cinnamon rolls were very dry. Rates seemed excessively high. I would probably seek an alternative hotel if returning, maybe BW.

Reviewed By CarissaGinALRoom #209 - needs some serious TLC. Multiple plaster problems, mildew on ceiling, 3 pillows = 1 normal pillow, and a bed that’s more like an old trampoline. No bedding blankets, just a sheet and a bed cover. If you leave the TV on all night it does cover the road noise, a plus. Breakfast was very light, but adequate.

I had grocery store feet from walking around without shoes within 10 minutes. Gross! There was trash on the floor when we got into the room and wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke detector should have been. Would not recommend!

Reviewed By N1219TNrandybPLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. Where to start? We are repeat customers and this is now a run down dump that I'm surprised Choice Hotels allows them to use the Quality Inn name. We walked up to our room past the bullet holes, the security lights that don't work, locks missing from the doors, and through the stench of marijuana to our room. Our door frame next to the lock had large pry marks that bent the door frame; the door was hard to open and close. They give you 2 towels large enough for a small child. When you pull up the lever for the shower the whole faucet comes up and feels like it's going to break. I went to hang my towel after a shower and the hook fell off the door. The carpet was coming off, there was parts of the ceiling with previous water damage where it peeled loose. The only good thing at this hotel was the lobby and the pool, that's how they get you to stay. This is ABSOLUTELY a maintenance issue or lack there of. Look at the pictures for proof. Don't stay here because you will be up all night worried for your safety.

Reviewed By Wander768193I did not expect much for the price but YIKES! Dirty towels, cigarette burns in the sheets ( we got in late and didn't notice until morning). Moldy ceiling in bathroom. Thankfully we were only here for one night. The only plus side is Choice Hotels did make it right for us.

Reviewed By jennybK6554BTWe decide to have a weekend getaway to see the lovey Laurel Community, which is worth the visit, Let me start by saying, the check in clerk,William, was so nice and helpful. However, that’s where the pleasantries end. This hotel is in need of every up available. Be aware if your are handicapped, make sure to get a ground floor room; this hotel has no elevator! All lobby furniture and in room furniture are covered in stains and grease. All the walls and hand rails are disfigured and need paint and / or replacing. The carpet looks as if it has never been cleaned. The vending machine were not only empty, they were unplugged. All upstairs walls,in the hallways, have visible water damage and bubbled paint peeling. My credit card was charged 3 times (they called it a holding fee) however my statement said “Comfort Inn” not Baymont Inn. Sketchy. Outside appearance needed to be updated as well; fresh paint and clean windows would help. It may be inexpensive but in this case you don’t even get what you pay for. Never again!
