However, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and mostly we were able to park directly outside the hotel. For the price it was good. Although there was some noise from the bus/train station outside.

interesting location but an OK hotel
Reviewed By stutheobaldFirstly this hotel is located next to a petrol station and the entrance to the hotel is via a shared lobby area with a pet store, a convenience store, a petrol station and a place selling rims for cars...its a bit weird. oh and underneath the hotel is a place that cleans cars. That being said the rooms are quite modern and clean with a definite Swissness to them all made from concrete; the only down side is that in the summer the rooms are quite hot and in the winter they are quite hot as well. Reception has a small breakfast location attached to it where you can get a limited cold buffet in the mornings and they also have some beer in the evening, you can also go to the convenience store for some different options if you want. There are several locations for you to drink your beer including inside or outside on a bench by the petrol pumps. Its not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, far from it but its also not a great hotel but the choice in Frauenfeld is very limited. All the staff speak english as well which is helpful.

The rooms are large enough and everything works find and is clean. The Hotel is located in the center of the village Frauenfeld. Guests can use the parking lot of the nearby Shopping Center. Good choice over all.

Reviewed By AGB1983Very clean, cute & friendly family-owned guesthouse in calm location in the Thurgau canton with multiple spacious rooms perfect for families with all needed amenities. Free parking, free wifi and all needed toiletries. It has as well a very good pizzeria restaurant next door, which is very comfortable after a long day out and about, it's close by and it's good. Thank you Manfred and Elisabetta for the kind service, we felt like at home, the freshly brewed coffees and breakfast food (bread, ham, cheese, jams,..) was very good and made us start the day in the best way! I would definitely recommend this cute guesthouse to everyone, if you're visiting Connyland, visiting Thurgau or this region.

Welcoming bar area, typically swiss.....ok, the snowmen on the bar are a bit quirky! Breakfast is continental, top tip boil your eggs for 7 minutes (I'm an industrial Chemist - trust me) Rooms are USA motel themed - Carine was that your choice, lol - comfy beds, great shower - give it a go!

Reviewed By Neta MI came to this hotel for a business trip at a nearby town. It is located 3 minutes walk from the train station (with direct train from Zurich Airport). The rooms are very clean, nice shower (not small) and large bed. Sonce this place also sells chocolate, a new chocolate was waiting on the table. There also a free minibar and option to get bycicle to ride for free. Very nice breakfast and nice staff.

All of our rooms are well suited for both, single or double occupancy. They are designed in a contemporary style. You find a workspace with phone and internet access, a sitting area and also a modern bathroom. Upon request we will offer you a minibar individually stocked with your favorite drinks. Just let the front desk know your needs. Housekeeping can take care of your personal laundry. During business hours on weekdays our shuttleservice is available to get you to where you need to go. Other times we can arrange necessary transportation for you at the front desk.

Reviewed By SophieW2359We had booked to stay at this hotel during Frauenfeld festival 2020, which meant we were charged an extremely high rate of 480 CHF per night. After the cancellation of the festival, due to Covid-19, we got in touch with the hotel to find out what our options were. We were hoping to find a compromise and requested a partial refund or the possibility to change the dates of our reservation to next year however both our requests were rejected. Although we understand that these times are difficult for everyone, we were really disappointed by their lack of flexibility and empathy towards our situation. They left a lot of our calls and emails unanswered...

Reviewed By Ilias Hwe reached hotel and a girl was there she told she will clean the room and will give the key . We stayed there for more than 2 hours then we went to her and checked, at that time that dump told she forgot and we are out of time and had to cancel our plans. very bad
