We were given a powered site near the shower/toilet area. Pretty convenient. The timing for the light sensor could be extended, had to keep coming out of the shower to activate the light. Otherwise was a pleasant stay.

Hidden gem of a motel

Reviewed By swinggal

I love 1960s motels and this one has been renovated with flair and is in a great location and a bit of a hidden gem. 5 minutes from the beach, jetty and centre of town. We walked to dinner at night as it was so close. Bright, airy and great ammenities for such a small property and the price. Also has security at night with carded gates for entry and exit, which is great touch. Would definitely stay again if visiting Busselton in the future.

Do not Recommend - won't be back

Reviewed By christos802

My wife and I spent one Saturday night in December 2021 in the room at the back of the property. The accommodation unfortunately did not live up to the promised standard. The mattress needs urgent replacement and made for a very uncomfortable night of sleeping. The curtains did not properly block the light - as soon as daylight broke through, the room was showered in bright light. The cleanliness was questionable, with the towels having bleach marks. The so-called free breakfast was self-help and so basic, we just turned around and walked out. The only positive thing I can mention is the location - it is an amazing location within short walking distance from Busselton Foreshore and Jetty. If only a little bit of love and care can be combined with the location, this will be an amazing property - in its current state we won't be back.

Value for money!

Reviewed By 259DeniseB

The motel on the whole is on the older side but did not disappoint. The rooms are spacious and clean. Kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery supplied if you decide to bring a meal home. Beds very comfortable, although somehow the staff forgot to make one of them one day. My only issue was when people were smoking outside the rooms it wafted in under the door. If you are in the room in the corner of the corridor noise travels down the corridor. Can be quite noisy at times. Close to town centre. Would stay here again.
