We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered 4 dishes. Our dishes all arrived separately, sometimes 10 minutes apart. So planning on eating the lemon chicken and the Singapore Noodles together wasn’t possible etc etc. We ate each plate separately which sucked. Then one of our dishes never came, an hour after our first dish arrived we enquired and were told, “it had been mistakenly given to another table, did we want to cancel it or wait for another?” Afterwards we went to pay we noticed that the price was wrong on one of the dishes, the manager tried to be sly and said we were referring to the takeaway price, when we showed her it was on the dine in menu she put up a fuss and made it seem like it was our problem. Never mind, don’t eat here, try across the road at the other Chinese place.

I cant speak highly enough about the staff and location of stilts. Located right in the beach the spot is just magic. The food is always fresh and great quality at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Stilts. Whether its for a function, dinner, or just coffee and cake you should definately check this place out.

Following an enjoyable jetty train trip we decided to have a look at the menu for lunchtime offerings. Plenty of choices to excite, but we finally decided on the entrée size meals after seeing deliveries to adjacent tables. Candied lamb ribs with cucumber, pine nut & dill salad and pickled pomegranates, Salt & pepper calamari with lime miso aioli and togarashi, Beer battered chips & aioli. Assorted teas and coffees accompanied. Bottles of chilled water on the table. Service outstanding, efficient and friendly. Meals delicious and filling. Great views to the jetty, the beach and surrounds. Excellent and enjoyable hour, happy holiday atmosphere both inside and outdoors.

This was a Saturday night venue for an unusual number of 13. Despite a slight mix-up over the time of arrival, the friendly and accommodating staff quickly and efficiently seated us and took orders for food and drinks. 9 of the party opted for one of the 'banquet' options, whilst the remaining four ordered separate dishes. Meals arrived at the same time, however, which was good.
Having enjoyed an unexpected and rather filling lunch, I opted for what I thought might be a fairly light and moderately portioned dish of Crispy Crabs with garlic and pepper. I was wrong! The dish when it arrived must have has at least a dozen crabs in it. These were absolutely delicious, beautifully crispy without the batter being in any way greasy, the crab tender and very tasty, and a dish with two chilli sauce dips (one sweet and one spicy) - the whole being streets ahead of a similar dish I have eaten in Perth just eight days previously.
All in all, an excellent evening. The restaurant is not licensed but also does not charge corkage for BYO.

I jave been going to the Vasse since it first opened. Great atmosphere and woodfire pizzas are awesome. However the last few times we have been the quality of food and customer service hasnt been us to the usual standard. Wait time for our meal last visit was way too long and we were disappointed in the meal when it came out. They could also do with a bit of live music to liven it up.

Never happens though. I'd rate this as the best Thai in WA ATM. They've kept most of the dishes traditional but slightly adapted things to suit local conditions.we drove 2 hrs from Mandurah today, 4 hr round trip, to buy 4 dishes! Chill Pork rib ,
Battered fish coconut curry, Moo pad ka pow and pad se ew . Sorry if I pronounced them wrong they put the Thai restaurants around Mandurah to shame. Beautiful food, and I've eaten in some of the best street /shops around BKK.

Dropped in for a coffee $4:80. Handed a ten dollar note and received 20cents change I asked about the 5 and was told I was given it. I wasn't Frank the 10 dollar coffee, which wasn't great, and won't be back. Oh and the toilets...MoreVery sorry to hear about this misunderstanding .
