A very tasty table d'hote four course lunch with wine and coffee at a sensible price which was served without fuss and in a room filled with local clientele. A sure sign of a successful enterprise. Just what we needed!

Excellent salads, sweet and savoury crepes in a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely come back, very reasonable and friendly staff. Can't ask for more. If you are passing through, would recommend you stop!

We were entertained tonight by local friends who have eaten here recently and recommended it highly.The service and the food were excellent so we are pleased to confirm our hosts assessment.It is always difficult to choose between restaurants from kerb appeal alone so we are sorry to be leaving the area tomorrow, missing an opportunity to enjoy La Badiane again. It is a great reason to return to see our friends again !

We have eaten here on many occasions, the service is excellent. And the food is great for the value. It's proper French cooking and it comes out looking fantastic. Great choice of beers,wines and Sprits. The polish waitress and Fabian look after us on every occasion. We have recently moved to the area from another part of France. We had one of the best coffees and cakes we've eaten since arriving here. Chocolate brownie & coconut cake were delicious. We saw they do hot meals in the daytime so will definitely go back to try their food. Also noticed the price was very good value too

We both started with the bulots (whelks) which were unpleasantly gritty, past their best and served with a bland mayonnaise. We were a little concerned but, survived.The main courses were also bland and imaginative - a thin piece of porc with a creamy mushroom sauce and, a small gristly burger served with an unexpected fried egg. The vegetables were okay. We both left feeling rather queasy.The staff were friendly enough however, we will not be going back.

A fabulous lunch, exquisitely presented and delightfully served by our friendly hosts. Afterwards, a visit to the table from Chef Julian to ensure that all was to our satisfaction and expectations. Put simply, It was everything and so much more.We have spent a lot of time in France over the years and we truly cannot remember a better dining experience, only an equal many years ago.We certainly will be visiting more regularly in future as we have a home nearby that will, hopefully, be a permanent one and we highly recommend the Manor de la Pommeraie to you all.

I was in charge of finding a lunch location during our road trip in Normandy, and took the advice of TA reviewers who clearly love this place. The food was interesting and good, but the decor is what delighted my picky fellow travelers. The owners of this restaurant have created a comfortable, but somewhat funky, upper-tier dining experience -- something a little different that works.

We love this place and often eat here. It has the pull of high quality food but also a really warm welcome.
