Nous y avons pris 3 repas en groupe, fin septembre. Accueil excellent, plats de bonne facture, personnel à l'écoute pour ceux qui ont un régime, en proposant des plats de substitution. Une bonne ambiance.

Grande salle et service rapide pro.Buffet d entrées 3 plats au choix et dessert pour 14.5⬠avec 1 boisson.Ce n est pas de la grande cuisine mais c est correct. Bonne cantine.

We visited on a market day, a Wednesday. Sitting down at 12.00 there were a couple of other diners but by 12.30 it was near full.Located just off the main square it's very central.Welcome reception by all the staff, very polite and the service prompt no complaints at all.There's a wide range of menu choices we opted for the entrée and mains du jour with a choice of two in each. We picked the goat cheese salad, fresh and wholesome. Mains were rump steak, fris and béarnaise sauce with a salad - well cooked , hot and perfect fries, I mean absolutely perfect. The other main was duck leg in a sauce Perigourd with pommes puree and a small salad - simple but excellent, the pommes puree were near perfect, and the duck tender with a very tasty sauce - 15 euros per person for the two courses was very good value, we added a carafe of red and coffee.All up a very pleasant meal, nice décor and good service....what more do you need!

A small restaurant on the edge of Nemours town â itâs run by a friendly young couple â and specialises in delicious pizzas. We had a table on the simple terrasse overlooking the Loing and the mill. Service was slow as only one server -the lady owner â attempted to work the room of approx 20 people. We had to wait for 15 mins before she arrived to take our order so we were obliged to order our aperitifs at the same time as our meal â it would have been so much more relaxed if someone had taken our aperitif order upon arrival.Both our pizzas were delicious â cooked in the wood fire oven (au feu de bois) - if a little light on meatâ our Brouilly was fairly priced and the final bill of â¬45 for two was good value. Au Fil De lâEau has obviously been renovated after last summerâs catastrophic floods and the décor is modern and cosy however lacks atmosphere â a little background music would be nice.We will return â for the food and the nice owners â but it could be so much better if they choose appropriate background music to add atmosphere and hire two extra servers/waiters.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at LâAuberge des Sources in pretty Chaintreauville â slightly off the beaten track but certainly worth the detour.Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the congenial Anaïs who runs the Auberge with her talented chef husband Quentin.The food was divine â my filet de boeuf was cooked to perfection â succulent and delicious served in a morille sauce. My wifeâs quasi de veau was exquisite, perfectly rosé and served in a mouth-watering gorgonzola sauce. For dessert the sumptuous moelleux au chocolat was sublime â highly recommended â while the crème brûlée in light of the other wonderful dishes was a little underwhelming. A half bottle of Cote de Rhône was a perfect accompaniment to our chosen plats.Our final bill of â¬75 which included two kir aperitifs and café noisettes to finish was super value for this exceptionally high standard of cuisine.We found the dining area a little bright and agreed that soft candle light may have been more in keeping for a romantic occasion â but the exceptional cuisine more than makes up for ambiance. Service was quick, efficient, attentive and friendly â bravo Anais!It will be our great pleasure to return again very soon to this excellent and friendly Auberge.

There's an Ibis hotel no more than 50 paces from this restaurant. Good fresh food, congenial service and typically French, if you know what I mean. Fairly priced, good selection of Vin and open late.

We found La Tour Eiffel restaurant in a side street in Nemours by chance.We were attracted to the offer of a "menu du jour" - 3 courses and coffee for about 12 euros.The restaurant is run by a Portuguese family who have lived in France for many years. The welcome was very friendly. The restaurant is attractive - bright and nicely decorated.The food was excellent and with generous portions - a typical french midday business poeple meal.Although such menus often offer a very limited choice (if any), we were very happy with the choice pf dishes that day. The food all appeared to be home cooked.

There were 5 in my party, and we had a tripe dish (friend did not share), calf's kidney (smooth), confit de canard (yumm!!), entrecôte of beef (delicious) and a salad w cheese (just right!). It is a popular place - we were early-ish for lunch and the place filled up after our arrival. Families with children, retirees, young professionals and friends.Enjoyed the ambiance and rustic feel - friendly, yet professional.

Excellent lunch: well-prepared French classic dishes and friendly service. Perfect break in the little town of Nemours if you are traveling on the A6 highway. Good price/quality ratio.

Lovely welcome to the restaurant. Been here several times before and not been disappointed. Very nice home cooked food with good portion size, Chicken in sauce was very nice and popular, seemed that everyone was ordering the chicken, mushrooms and mashed potato with truffle oil. The potato, I could have eaten with nothing else it was so good.Lamb was very good too, and lots of it, partner wondered if it was going to end!Can recommend this place. Will be back!
