We'd stopped here a couple of times for after ski drinks as it is handily located right by the ski bus stop. Given it's a ski resort, I didn't think the beer prices were too steep. We also tried it for lunch and the kebab sandwich was a winner, especially as it comes with chips in it too! We didn't try the pizzas but they also looked great.

Very surprising inside. It is quite cavernous which you don't expect from the outside. A real Mexican feel to this place with the sombreros and the colourful walls. Excellent spag Bol or carbonara. Plenty of seats both inside and out.

Book ahead for this small, authentic restaurant in the tiny mountain village of Sers. It's a plain room, simply furnished and on the night we were there, packed with locals.Beware - the portions, especially of the "mountain dishes" are very filling as well as really tasty. The food here is of the sort you are unlikely to find anywhere else: mutton; thick, tasty homemade soup and so on. This place is well worth a detour and we shall certainly be back.

This looks like a relatively new opened restaurant - a good addition as not really too many places to eat along the main street. They have a great selection of reasonable price wines & pretty decent menu. The scallops & king prawns - both tasty & well cooked. One of our dishes came out cold (lamb) but it was quickly replaced without any hassle. If you are in Bareges for a few nights then this is an obvious choice.

We really enjoyed the tartiflette which was on the plat de jour. Simple yet well cooked and served with a green salad. Warm and welcoming. Good coffee and creme caramel.Quite central in this quaint village in Bareges in the Pyrenees.

Hiking the GR 10, you wish for some interludes like this, a village restaurant that provides you with a festive evening out. The food might not be avant-garde but it's well prepared and elegantly plated French classics with a little twist. Service is impeccable.

Mountain restaurant that serves excellent food summer and winter. Louisette is a first class cook. Served on slates and beautifully presented with mountain flowers and herbs. Local lamb a speciality, and as for the potatoes cooked in goose fat - perfection. Try assiette du skier in winter.

The restaurant is very unique with the style of food served. there is a selection of fondues but also small barbeques placed on the table where you cook your own selection of fillet, duck fillets and lamb served with melted cheese and potatoes. A fantastic unique meal for families and friends.

The food served here is excellent. It is beautifully presented and offers a combination of tastes on each plate. The choice of wines is very good, and guidance is readily available. The staff are cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful. There is also the option of eating a selection of tapas if you do not want a full meal.
