Hoy voy a opinar sobre este local pero en base al menú del día y este es excelente en calidad y cantidad y se puede pedir medio menú cosa que aconsejo si no somos de mucha comida ya que como digo los platos son abundantes, y el precio muy correcto.

The “croquetas” were very nice. The salad too, but it says there was “fried jamón” or something like that and actually what is the “fried jamón” are those small red points you see in one of the pictures, so it was a little bit disappointing. The main dish was nice but simple. Besides the decoration is very nice! The only thing is that the rock song playing was a little bit annoying and I don’t think it was compatible with the serenity of the place. Anyways, I would come back there once again.

This neighbourhood restaurant is bright and clean, and the service is friendly...but it misses the mark.Three of us had a stiff g and t each, we shared two starters (bbq vegetables and croquettes), mains were pizza, paella and spag bog...we didn't bother with puddings. There was nothing wrong with the food, it was just very ordinary. With a tip, I paid €75 (say, £56/57), not bad, but we won't bother going again when we're next in Lugo.

After visiting Praia de Os Cathedreis, we were looking for somewhere to eat, and came across this busy seafood restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We had excellent seafood, including small scallops, which were beautifully cooked. This was not fine dining but a welcome break in lovely surroundings with good food and service. To be recommended.

On the recommendations of diners on TA, we dined here on a Saturday night recently. When we arrived at 8:30 pm, we noticed that the whole of the downstairs was empty and were looking forward to being seated at one of the lovely tables downstairs as we were early and were wanting just a quick dinner. We were promptly ushered upstairs into a rather large, empty room! Initially we thought it that it would soon fill up. We ordered the food from a rather surly maitre d. Both the fish dishes I ordered were suddenly not available even though we were not informed of this when we put in the order. The food arrived, nice, well presented..... also lovely local wine from the local Ribeira Sacra region, albeit very small serves. Well, after 2 hours, still no other diners! We felt distinctly unloved must say, in an uninviting room with ZERO atmosphere. To sour our impression even more, when we left at around 10:30 pm, there were young diners downstairs with a vacant table next to them and as most Spanish dine late and make an outing of it, we assumed that this particular table was earmarked for other guests perhaps not for 'extranejo!'.So, overall, good food, but would have been so much more enjoyable if the attitude of the staff was different.

This place is tucked away from the center of the pedestrian area, but is well worth the detour.Probably as close to fine dining as you will get in Lugo.We were offered a small delicious vegetable soup as an appetizer, followed by scallops. Excellent. I then had slices of cochinillo. Delicious. My friends had the filet steak with pan seared foie gras and a pan fried fresh cod both excellent.Great 2007 rioja. Impeccable service, nice atmosphere.

Regardless of what we ordered, any restaurant that gives you mild food poisoning, a fever, and 48 hours of vomiting and diahorrea afterwards is worth a huge warning sign for health and safety, hygiene and staff training.More concretely, the 'rape en salsa marinera' (monkfish in seafood sauce) my partner ordered was the toughest, oldest tasting fish he said he had tried in 39 years of his life. As he was eating it, he actually said ''I hope I don't feel ill after this...". And in fact, half of it was left, and the only reason we didn't say anything was that we didn't want to make a scene in front of other diners. Even if we had done, we wouldn't have avoided the resulting upset stomach that absolutely ruined a chunk of our holiday in Lugo. Given that we ate nothing else that day - we were travelling all day - we are absolutely sure that it was the fish and/or bread that caused this.More on the bread - incredibly stale and - what a surprise - old. Not even fit for the duck pond.We dined here on a Sunday, and maybe one could argue that the restaurant didn't get a fresh delivery of bread that day... However, we have dined in many restaurants on this day and always had fresh bread with our meals. It is unacceptable that this place gets away with serving food that is clearly past its best. It's a pity because it looks nice and cosy, and the waiting staff were cordial and professional.

We had the kid menu burgers for our kids and ate the Sorrentina burger. All was of amazing quality which I was surprised with since this is a restaurant chain, but from what I can see they want to be known for the quality of the food and they nailed it from the meat to the bread and accompaniments. Absolutely recommend it but be sure you reserve a table in advance.Hi Luis! We are very glad of reading your good review. Hope to see you soon! Thank you!

Is not in the old city center surrounded by big walls but it pays a visit! Excellent food!!! Big amount of fresh calamari fritti (calamares de la ría a la romana). The tempura is not specially interesting. The provolone was tasty but very simple made in the oven with some mushrooms. The rice was delightful, well cooked, tasty and we ate it all! Homemade desserts... original and tasty: we loved “Esencia” with pistacchio and black tea icecream!
