Lots of local food options on the menu. I chose the Javali (wild boar) stew and really enjoyed it.Service was very good and I would definitely eat here again if I find myself in the area.

The food was extremely good but what made the evening was the ambience but fantastic service from all team. They had really got it right and set a marker that other restaurants so far haven't met. Highly recommend and if we cant get back this visit on the top of list for next visit. Thankyou for great evening.

Really lovely family restaurant. May not be the best setting but the food and service makes up for this . The most superb fish , with vegetables included. Great drinks too. Definitely worth a visit.

We have eaten here previously. On this visit we were very disappointed with the food offering. My fish was tasteless and looked like it came plastic wrapped from a supermarket. Others had a variety of dishes and blandness was the general verdict. Better value elsewhere in my opinion.

I am not a vegan, not even a vegetarian. I visited with vegetarian friends. Food expectation was low, but âWOWâ. Exquisite tastes, flavours to die for. Service was superb, portions were large but not over facing. I will definitely be back. Excellent!

This is the second time we come here. It's become a must of our trips to Portugal! First, the terrace. So beautiful, so green, so intimate! Then the service...with a smile, efficient and ready to give great advice if needed. Then of course the food!! Inventive, tasty (a vanilla risotto! Unbelievable). Always leave room for desserts, they are all amazing! See you again on our next visit to Portugal!

We had a group of 12 and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and working very hard. They could do with a couple more. One of our party was a vegetarian and the choice wasn't great... One small area to improve.The food arrives in saucepans so you can easily share a main dish. Really nice evening and very tasty!Good parking off the main road.Definitely worth a visit. Obrigado

This family owned restaurant does not disappoint. Everything was beautifully presented, freshly made and served with care. There was no children's menu which actually worked in our favour (eventually) as it meant the kids tried different food to the usual resorts of fish fingers/chicken nuggets. The sea bass was beyond tasty. The steak was tender and the king prawn that came with it had been properly deveined and was melt in the mouth tender. The grilled chicken that the kids had was super tender. The fries (more potato wedge type things) were so crispy that even our (normally non potato fan) kids devoured them! The home made ice cream was unctuous and flavourful with a great range of flavours. Honestly, couldn't fault a single thing. An absolute steal pricewise for the quality have paid a lot more for not as good.Would happily go back even though it's an hour away from where we are staying!

My wife & I visited this restaurant in mid June after a 10 holiday in the Algarve. We were greeted by two friendly male staff and given a choice of tables. The menu is extensive and we chose different mains, both of which were fantastic. The wine was good value and the service throughout was excellent. We will certainly return to the Estatua restaurant, the next time we visit the Algarve. Highly recommended.

Booked a table last minute for 3adults and 2children. Excellent food, very friendly service and very child friendly. One of the best meals we've had in the area and the waiter even brought a second spag bol at no charge for one of the children as he'd enjoyed his meal so much. We got free ports at the end and the kids got free cokes in the port glasses which they really appreciated. sorry we didn't find this restaurant sooner in our holiday and will be back when we return to Almancil
