This is the kind of restaurant I could imagine eating at every day, were I to live and work in Rennes. It is small, crowded and friendly, and our food was unpretentious, very tasty and extremely good value. We both chose the lunch special, chicken breast and potatoes, and it was great, perfectly complimented by the house red. I couldn't resist the superb chocolate lava cake dessert. If I'm ever in Rennes again, this is where you'll find me!

Menu, fixed price board and specials chalk board to choose from. We ate every night during our three nights' stay and every course was excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff who spoke English for non french speakers. Underground car park with lift direct to restaurant.

We were left with very positive impressions following our discovery of this friendly restaurant tucked away towards the upper end of the main street in Rennes. The staff (a couple of young men) were friendly, chatty, and efficient. The food was not just good but full of surprises: my wife loved her lentil salad with duck hearts - not something she'd tried before - whilst I was blown away by my main course of veal with carrot puree, because the puree contained kaffir lime, and that really worked. Desserts too were imaginative, with the Rennes Brest a stand out. Great wines from a short but really interesting list. Of the many restaurants we've tried in Rennes, a city we return to regularly, this really left memories.

Stopped here Sunday night for a meal before boarding our plane at Rennes. Lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant and very nice staff. The meal was served very speedily but to a high quality. Thoroughly recommend it for an evening but also for those travelling to the airport, which is close by. Will visit again

So I can be the first to review in English! The staff did speak English. I apologize for my lack of French - my school-learnt French is too long in the past to really be worth anything now!I came here whilst staying at the Best Western hotel next door. Very nice place - good atmosphere. Good service. Good food.As a vegetarian I tend to get little choice in France - I don't know why France struggles with this concept like nowhere else.Here too - there was little choice, but I ended up with something - mixed salad with chips - that was very nice. The salad was very well presented - and a good choice.Yes - I'd be happy to come again.

visited the restaurant for a nice meal but the food was average the staff were the same I did not feel comfortable it was as if I was a pain that they wanted to go awaymaybe it was a bad day for them!!!!!!!

Les salles sont assez grandes, à peine bruyantes, mais il faut penser à réserver. Dans l'assiette, les quantités sont honnêtes et la qualité est là . La carte est restreinte mais c'est ce qui permet une cuisine du jour de qualité. Comptez 26⬠le soir pour le menu entrée-plat-dessert. C'est une valeur sûre.

Back in the region of Rennes, we had lunch at Le Bistronome which my brother highly recommended. We ordered the set menu consisting of an appetiser, a main and a dessert. Priced at 16 euros this is extremely great value. The food was very good, amply portioned and well presented. The restaurant features Cuisine de Saigon and the menu changes frequently. Highly recommended.

Un restaurant au calme, à proximité du cente des expositions et de l'aéroport. Disposition originale avec plusieurs petites salles en enfilade qui permettent une ambiance calme et chaleureuse. Très bonne cuisine traditionnelle. Je recommande vivement.
