Wonderfully atmosphere, good music, fantastic service and food , and Mr Gunther is the perfect host, we have restaurant ourself so I can say in a professional opinion that this place is just PERFECT, and in combination with the sun beds they have on the beach you simpli can not find a better place, we spend every day of our holiday there, why go go anywhere here you have it, try it you will newer regret it, thank for a good holidayRegards from Dan & Natasha Copenhagen Denmark

Whilst staying on the marina in Aguadulce for the first time, we decided to give this place a try as we'd already become bored of the mediocre restaurant selection in the resort after just three days. We're glad we did! This was our saving grace! My husband and I are well travelled and would consider ourselves 'Foodies' however, always open to trying backstreet and under the radar options and giving every option a try. Aguadulce is not really geared up for mass tourism, which could be my only explanation for such a poor choice of restaurants. Even though we enjoy tapas, there's only so much deep fried/marinated/macerated/pickled/pre-prepared fare we can take and after seeing nothing but tapas, tapas, tapas we were in need of something lighter, tastier, fresh. My husband is a beer and ale conissieur and was pleased to work his way through a few of the vast selection of fine Belgian beers on a daily basis after our discovery. The menu is not vast, but the toasted sandwich selection kept us happy each lunch time and the selection of fresh, tasty items from the evening bbq menu (post 8pm) alongside the small selection of larger dishes from the menu was enough for our week long stay. Great wine, nice chilled white and a relatively generous serving (another thing about Almeria - their wine servings are scant! Pushing 130ml at most.) The Cava served here isn't great, but I gave it a try - see pic. Also, traditional crepes and light, crunchy waffles served here for dessert! Lovely friendly staff that speak an array of languages, always accommodating and helpful. What's more, there's a great view over the marina too! Will definitely return should we ever visit Almeria again. Thank you very much... That's the reason why we are having our restaurant. We want to please our guests...

We had dinner last night and the food was fabulous. On my last visit the service was not up to my standard but not last night. They have improved that part and it is now a very nice place to have tapas or dinner. The cook always offer a wide variety of dishes. we have tried a lot of different plates and they were all good. The wine lists is also wide and the waitress is making sure you find the one you like. Very helpful people. Highly recommend!

We had heard very many good reports from friends over the past year or so.We decided to have lunch there today, 5 of us. After a slow start with drinks, we were not disappointed. Tapas so different and so tastefully presented with very acceptable wines.We all had 4 drinks each with tapas and then enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the house.A very nice touch and much appreciated...looking forward to our next visit..

Casual atmosphere. Food was average, rather basic, and not abundant but with some attractive touch in its presentation. Low prices and a rather young vibe. Clean facilities. Staff was correct but not very friendly, apparently a bit overworked that day. This place can be an option for those who want a casual meal without high expectations at a moderate price.

Going with the usually reliable reviews on TA, my husband and I decided to give this place a try early in our trip to Aguadulce. Fully prepared for the back-alley, rough and ready experience we were unfazed and on arrival, pointed towards a free table in the busy outdoor seating area by a very young staff member. Testing our Spanish, we ordered a bottle of Cava and were happy to find it was Rondel blue rather than the 2 euro bottle we'd spotted at the supermarket earlier (& that everywhere else seemed to serve) so far, so good. We ordered an array of tapas dishes, wanting to try out this seemingly spectacular selection of traditional food....and were left terribly disappointed. Nothing was good. But nothing was that bad either. Probably the worst prawns I've ever eaten in terms of meat (all shell) and as for the 'large' portions, that left a little to be desired too. We ordered a large dish which was also very standard, nothing special and we left a little hungry and very deflated. We have eaten some spectacular tapas over the years, and this was probably one of the worst. Sorry to say Aguadulce, but you need to up your game! This goes for the majority of restaurants in the resort.

We were here off-season, and although we carried a small baby, were welcomed with a smile.it is a really nice atmoshpere in the restaurant, and the food is delicious.We took everything to share, which is super.we would definately visit this again!

This bar/restaurant is located just off the Paseo de Almeria close to the banks. Many of its customers are local office workers. I only had drinks here (very good price), having already lunched, but I could see the quality and value of the Menu del Dia still being served at about 4pm. If I were in Almeria again, I would come here for lunch. Service was friendly and pleasant.
