What a place, really good. I'd recommended you get there early unless you'll be queueing.
We were having a lager and a red wine and a delicious tapas for about 6€.
We also used the stilo campo on the beach front. The food was really nice there as well.

Dont let the quiet location of this little gem put you off, hiding in the backstreets of Aguadulce is one of the best restaurants in the area. Bacus offers an inspirational mix of superb eating in great surroundings, with great service on top, the menu is small but punchy (like the location) and mixes traditional dishes with pan Asian and exotic flavours to create something truly special, you can graze on amazing tapa, or eat freshly caught fish prepared to exceptional standards & bursting with flavour. The wine list is also really well assembled and after their dinner G&T is the best ever! Menu is updated regularly but some signature dishes always stay, my stand out winners are the Salmorejo (the best anywhere) the reinvented Russian salad (a delicate foam that melts in the mouth, the pincho teriyaki and the incredible herring cerviche served in a jar. These are modern, gastronomical tapas to enjoy in stylish surroundings for as little as 3€ each, eating doesn't get better than this, go and be thrilled! Bacus is a 45 min drive from where we stay in Almeria but we go there every time we visit, and it never disappoints ; )

during our stay in Aguadulce, 2 weeks we visited the place 3 times. Each time we ate amazing food. We tested probably all, thank to tapas option.
The best calamari in our opinion. Fine service with lot of fun. Difficult to understand spanish english, but with iphone no problem.

It's very nice and clean inside and was seated quickly staff friendly enough. Not a vast menu but there was something for adults to choose from. The main courses were so expensive though that we just shared our food with the kids but the portions were quite small too. No kids menu and no option for tapas for them instead unless your buying alcohol.
You're paying for location on the beach and the view
It came to slightly over 30euros for 3small cola zeros a portion of chips for the kids to share. An omelette and a tuna salad.

We had dinner last night and the food was fabulous. On my last visit the service was not up to my standard but not last night. They have improved that part and it is now a very nice place to have tapas or dinner. The cook always offer a wide variety of dishes. we have tried a lot of different plates and they were all good. The wine lists is also wide and the waitress is making sure you find the one you like. Very helpful people. Highly recommend!

It is almost impossible to find very good Italian cuisine in this part of Spain. We have tried most of the restaurants rated highly on TripAdvisor and for authenticity they range from poor to ok. Somebody told us that this restaurant had an Italian chef and we should try it. Well, the pasta dishes were really excellent with sauces made just how we would expect them in a top Italian restaurant anywhere else in the world. We had a spaghetti arabiatta and another pasta with fresh tomato and basil. The pizza was really authentic.
The service was extremely friendly and efficient. The restaurant is not cheap for this area but it is not expensive and for the quality of food, it is very good value for money.
We would like to go back there again soon when they have live music.
