Great location, disappointing service
Reviewed By ms612288The location is great and beautiful, rooms were good, beds excellent. However, we were disappointed by the fact that we were asked to clean the kitchen and bring out our waste at the end of our stay. We thought that doesn't correspond to the price. We also felt very uncomfortable at the breakfast, because we were surrounded by uncleaned tables with the remainders of other guests' breakfasts. During our breakfast time, we didn't see anyone clearing up the tables, everything was just left as it was. Also, there were no more spoons, and there was no service personnel we could have asked.

Cancelled without warning and left me outside on the pavement
Reviewed By sarastocksDespite having followed the booking.com process fully, and trying to contact the hotel in the hours before arrival I arrived to find that the rooms I had booked weren't available. The receptionist would not let me into the reception. She told me that "I wasn't the only one". I had to find another hotel quickly (and expensively) in the area as dark fell.

Perfect for a short stay
Reviewed By LondiniumWe stayed only 1 night in the hotel on our way back to Brussels and booked 2 studios. Both were really big with a small kitchenette, a nice sitting area, a small dining table and a balcony. Automatic blinds outside the windows making it possible to keep windows open at night. The bathroom is big too but the shower is not practical at all as it is open so water goes everyday (save the toilet roll before having your shower ? ) – I believe the one we got was more for an handicapped person. Warm welcome when we arrived and we received all the information we needed. There is a free parking around the hotel but I would not recommend parking below the big trees – I found many sticky spots everywhere on the roof and also bird dejections, the car was really dirty and in a need to go to the carwash. The hotel itself is nice, extremely quiet with a nice park and secured as the front door closes at 20H but you may enter with your electronic key. There is a small Carrefour Market 2-3 minutes away by car where you can buy all you need. There are also permanent residents in the hotel and a retirement house next door. Before leaving (check-out is quite early), don't forget to clean any utensil you would have used from the kitchen otherwise there is a fee of 15 euro.

The receptionist was very helpful but unable to refund our money despite us being there only for 10 minutes before we moved out, apparently this is a common complaint. This is a budget hotel that is not charging budget prices.

Our appartement are elegantly decorated and offer you the modern confort. Great quality beds have been selected for you. Access is very easy. A5 highway is a few minutes away.

Reviewed By James SWe stayed two nights at the Villa. The apartment is very nice. Bed is confortable. Parking space for our car. Italian restaurant at 200 meters. Highway exit very close. Private kitchen. We'll come back next year.

Reviewed By Adixon02I messed up I only booked a twin room and there were three of us two adults and a teenager. Quick chat with reception and they found us a single for the teenager. Well priced clean modern rooms functional not fancy great for a quick stop over on a long journey which is how we used it. Take away Pizza, supermarket and a restaurant all within 5 minutes walk.Quiet residential location easy free parking.

Worth a look just for the scenery
Reviewed By Kay MWe were on a half day tour out of Dijon, and this was one of the stops. Wow. It was gorgeous along the river. We walked theough the charming city center and stopped for a pastry. There are a few shops but the history, architecture and panorama are well worth a side trip to this town near Dijon.

Reviewed By 28douglasoMy wife and I stayed just one night at this amazing apartment and when we return to Baune we will most certainly stay here, just longer :) From booking, to communicating how to enter, to arriving and to checking out, the experience was fantastic. Our apartment was clean, well laid out, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here.
